This is a very convenient reasonably priced place near the airport. It is not a resort it is a bed and breakfast. This is the closest hotel to the Tokoname train station. The breakfast is pretty good. The staff is really helpful. The rooms are being renovated now so that those floors which have been renovated are really better than a few weeks ago. They are very small but are probably the most reasonable in Tokoname or near the airport. It is very convenient if you want a quiet place to sleep before or after a flight. It is a lot more reasonable than Nagoya. There are however very few good restaurants near by and the restaurant in the hotel has a very limited menu for evenings. The breakfast at Route Inn is similar to the J-Hotel and much better than the breakfast at the SpringSunny which has quite honestly a nasty breakfast. It is equa-distant from the train station, so no nearer to better food. The SpringSunny looks like a Love hotel even though it isn't and the staff there is really rude so that is a good one to skip. The J-Hotel is a lot more expensive but is near more places to eat. WIFI has been improved recently, the heaters and air-conditioning work well now since renovation. Clean bathrooms. Minimal, convenient to train station and adequate. Unlike one of the other reviewers, the beds are clean and comfortable but they could improve their pillow type.

Convenient Airport HotelGood hotel for flying to/from Centrair. Hotel located a short walk from Tokoname station making it easy to go to either Nagoya or Centrair. Not much in the area around hotel. I had to take the train a station away to the Aeon Mall for shopping and food. Room was standard size for Japan and bed was comfortable enough. Everything in room was clean and functional. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I had an early morning departure so missed the breakfast buffet. Still a good deal for travel in/out of Centrair. I would stay here again.

Small and nice hotelThis hotel is very close to the train station, convenient to be Central Airport of Nagoya.(just 2 stations), the room was small but with everything, very clean too. The breakfast was very nice. I think it would be very good choice for the guest had late arrival flight, or early departure flight.

They have refurbished the roomsThe rooms are a bit too dark brown, but the beds have an added cushion to make them more comfortable. The pillows are a bit hard. The breakfast is ok but JHotel makes better eggs and the variety of dishes is more varied and some fresh lychees. Both have the overly sweet diced fruit from a can. The miso soup at Route Inn is usually light and the soup at JHotel is always red type miso. Route Inn has better bread. This hotel is really convenient for the train station for Nagoya or the Airport. Trains run often. Trains do not run very often from Tokoname Rinku which is the station near JHotel. Route Inn is less expensive but it is generally a minimal type place to sleep and go out from. The lobby is minimal and if you are looking for somewhere to socialize, go to JHotel but it is less convenient for the trains. JHotel is, however, close to the Aeon Mall which is better for many places to eat. Dinner at Route Inn is extremely limited. And the few drinking places near Route Inn are mainly Bar Food unless you take a longer walk

At present there is building work, road work, no viking breakfast, no women's spa & washing machineUntil all the building work and road building stop, consider this hotel a bed for the night only out of desperation. The rooms have clean sheets and bathrooms with towels and shampoo and soap. Find out when the building work will cease for the Annex, restaurant and women's spa before booking. No viking breakfast until probably sometime in March 2019, but enquire if you want to stay what date it starts again. Just coffee and rolls are available & maybe a 500yen card to go buy something at the convenience store. There is only one close convenience store that is not well stocked. The near by 7-11 always under orders chilled food items. There are 2 others on the hotel's road but they are quite a walk in the rain. You better have it heated up at the convenience store. I assume the one available microwave in the hotel will be very busy with everyone's convenience meals. So, go to the airport early if you want food. This also means there will be no evening food either but it has always been limited. In case you are a woman wanting to use the spa, it is not available for women. They are rebuilding the women's spa. No washing machine available for women, only men at present. If you are with your husband, he will have to do your wash for you in the men's spa. Because of the building work, there is occasionally building dust inside the building. Occasional loud building work noise in the hotel rooms day time only. Difficult road access at present due to road building on the road outside. Parking is difficult because of the road building happening at the same time. They are building an annex and it looks like maybe by the summer or maybe late spring the road building and hotel building might be finished. But, this information may be in Japanese on the Route Inn website. And if it is not, they should put it on. At present I cannot recommend this Route Inn unless you are desperate for a one night sleep and can't find another room. They are probably booked up with building workers anyway.
