  Good access, Moderate quality

  This is a major chain hotel in Japan. You can reach the 3rd station from Shinchitose Airport and 5-minute walk from Chitose Train Station. Central Sapporo can be reached in about 30 minutes by express train. The price is not so expensive, the rooms are large and clean, the breakfast is Continental and Japanese buffet style and rich in variety, and it is there is a large public bath. Some staff seems to speak English. There is a free pick-up service if you take the morning flight from the airport as below. It can be generally recommended, but if there is one complaint, my check in time was early at 15 o'clock, but I did not enter the room until the last minute. 53015

  A hotel with no room temperature control system

  We checked into this hotel the night before our flight back early the next morning. Check-in was smooth and the front desk staff were very polite in greeting their guests every time they step into and out of the hotel. The hotel is probably most suited for business travellers as well as those staying short-term. The rooms are fairly compact in size but do come with built-in cabinets. There is also a Sento which is a public bath using tap water heated by boilers as opposed to the natural hot spring-based Onsen. There is a huge Aeon shopping centre as well as the Chitose JR (Japan Rail) Station Plaza within 7min-walking distance from the hotel. One thing to note however is that the room temperature control system was for some reason disabled when we were staying in the hotel in May and will only be activated come June (most probably when summer officially starts). All in all, aside from this odd matter relating to the climate control system, the hotel is a practical short stay choice for travellers planning to spend the night close to the relatively nearby New Chitose International Airport before their flight out the next day.

  Comfortable

  Hotel offers good shuttle service to airport, nice view over the city from women's onsen, excellent breakfast buffet. You can wear jinbay suite in the hotel which is quite fun. Room is well equipped and quiet.

  Bed is not soft, staffs could not speak English! Not Recommended!

  I stay in route inn hotel (chitose station) and got the worsted experienced that I have ever stay in many hotels! - women staffs at front(lobby) could not speak english, why they cannot speak? Because of the low number of foreigners? Do not welcome the foreigner? And one of them, she laughed at me when I know that the bus which will take customers to the airport is full, why she laughed, is it funny? - the bed (futon) also the worst! Really hard to sleep( )and I ask for soft futon, she answer in Japanese that you pay money and we can change the room for soft bed(futon). Is it OKEY? Is this the only way to make customer feel better? :( Stay in other hotel is better choice! Not recommended this hotel!

  Great stopover close to airport en route to ski fields

  Great buffet breakfast included . Under cover parking also provided when outside parking full. No Faults at all and close to airport - recommend stop here for the night before heading to ski fields the next morning
