  Ideal for ski vacation with the family

  Family owned and operated for generations, this lovely hotel is situated on the way to Grossglockner 13 km away from glacier and 7 km away from Zell am See. You can get the ski pass directly from Reception. There is ski rental across the road. We were three families for ski vacation. We had great stay there, excellent rooms, spacious, clean, comfortable, big bathroom. The restaurant is perfect! Great variety of food, very good quality, exceptional service-very kind and polite. Breakfast was great. Eggs and omelettes cooked to order, juices, breads, pancakes, cereals, meats, cheeses, salads, yogurt and fruit. The hotel also has an indoor pool, sauna and steam room. We started the day with the pool and use of sauna after a day on the slopes. Overall the hotel is wonderful and the family that own it are wonderful and their staff is very polite. I would definitely recommend it to anyone, hopefully we will back for another ski holiday in the future.

  A comfortable stay

  Location was ideal to visit Grossklockner, the Kriml waterfall and Zell am see. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with mountain views from the balcony. Facilities include indoor and utdoor pools and a sauna. Breakfast was varied and included both cold and warm choices.

  Not worth it damp rooms 3 star not 4

  I attended for.2 days with a family of 7 so.we had 2 rooms I had a 4 bed and my kids had a 3 bed I was upset to find that the carpet was orange with dark stains and smelt of.oddur My kids room had laminate flooring so.it was ok Neither rooms had kettle or.tea facilities No.water provided Views = of other properties Bed sheets changed day so that was good Breakfast- low range Same food usual.servimg of boiled eggs No fried eggs No beans Cold bread albeit toaster provided to heat bread Pancakes cooked on same hot plate as omelettes Crossoints were ok Cereals poor just 3 bland choices not Acceptable for 4 star Then the attitude of the staff rude which let the other staff down who were courteous Shame Shame shame Hower the outdoor pool.was good so it made the trip bearable to some extent

  very nice hotel for a good price

  Just to summarize: Positive: -fast and pleasant communication with the hotel staff from the first contact -nice personnel in every part of the hotel making guests feel welcome -hotel is nice, comfortable and very clean -breakfast was rich and very tasty -fantastic pools with warm water accessible also in the evening -really nice garden with pond -trampoline in the garden -lot of parking places -few minutes from the Grossglockner High Alpine Road entry Negative: - we did not enjoy the dinners- the taste was some kind of boring and the options were limited. It was rather surprise as breakfast was really great. Despite the dinner, we enjoyed our stay a lot.

  Really good, would reccommend it to anyone

  We stayed here for 2 days with my family and all of us loved this place. Just to give a quick summary: Positive things: - clean, modern rooms - quite versatile, delicious foods - nice, helpful staff members - clean, well maintained pool and relaxation area - good saunas (especially loved the dampbad and it is nice that there are dried fruits, tea, water etc.) - well-equipped fitness room - nice view of the mountains Negative things: - there are not enough sunbeds in the pool area, (during our stay the weather was really cold so we couldnt use the outside ones.) I would recommend maybe putting some chairs along the inside pool. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay there, would love to go back again!
