  Friendly small hotel

  The hotel is a small and friendly. We had a simple room with a balcony facing the sea. We are on a cycling holiday from Venice to Croatia and stayed for one night. We were made very welcome after a long and hot ride from villa vicentina. We had a lovely refreshing swim in the pool on arrival and then sat in the sunshine before retiring to our balcony. We had dinner in the restaurant that evening, a mixed seafood starter followed by freshly cooked sea bass. Breakfast was excellent, usual Italian fare, croissants, eggs, fresh fruit , cold meats, cheese, bread and coffee. Delicious.

  Good location

  We stayed one night before going to Croatia and it was almost at the border with Slovenia. The room was ok but the matress super old and uncomfortable. The owners on the contrary were nice and the breakfast was ok.

  Amazing old world atmosphere

  Early in the season the quiet emptiness, the music of eras past, the starkly white and enchanting dining room all evoked images of a past glory. Tall ceilings and wonderfully huge windows; stormy clouds bustling wind. We loved it. Very clean. Nice beds, nice linens. Really hot shower. A wonderfully accommodating proprietor. A fantastic breakfast with just-baked apple cake and great coffee. Bike friendly.

  Dissapointed

  The hotel looks very nice and fancy on the pictures. On the inside it looks quite old. The staff was very nice. You only have wifi at the reception. The rooms on the pictures do not correspond with what we had. We had a room with a window from your ankles to the knees up. That was it. We had to put the light on if we wanted to see something. When the cleaning lady was cleaning we could catch a glimpse of the room next to us, it had regular windows. The window really bothered us and we felt cheated on. Dinner at the restaurant was nice but very expensive and there wasn't a menu where we could see the prices... The pool looked very nice, but the tiles were coming of the bottom. The bathroom was very nice, so was their breakfast. We have mixed feelings with this hotel. The staff was very nice and we felt welcomed but the room was a big dissapointment.

  It is a three but I am kind

  So starting with the positive things. Staff is very kind, breakfast fantastic, pool is clean and cool. Lot of parking places. Sea is in the near. Negativ things Bed was the worst I have ever slept in. It is a joke. No wifi in the rooms. If they promise me to change the beds. I promise to go in the future. Because the surroundings are faboulus.
