  la bonita fachada no hace honor al restaurante

  Cenamos una de las peores pizzas de la zona, un plato de fritos que se les cayò y colocaron lo que quedaban por el plato y se quedaron tan anchos , y el plato de pasta parece que lo tenían hecho, Bueno salimos decepcionados.

  we stayed at hotel Risorgimento during a trekking along the Costiera Amalfitana. It was extraordinary to return by the end of a long walk and to find beautiful things to eat in a friendly atmosphere The hotel is run by a family of host from 1878 and therefore is the most ancient hotel in Agerola. From a wonderful terrace you can see the sea and marvellous sunsets.

  Okay hotel, great pizza

  Small town old hotel, clean, friendly, uncomfortable beds. For a small town, was louder than one would think - many barking dogs the first night, could barely sleep. The breakfast was just okay, a coffee machine instead of an actual proper coffee maker, was disappointing - we were in fact in Italy - come on! The thin crust pizza made by Nicola however, was outstanding, and worth the experience.

  Really pleasant stay!

  Placed in the nice and refreshing Agerola, with very good views over the coast and an enjoyable temperature also in the hot summer days, the hotel has a family-like atmosphere, with a warm welcome and a relaxing mood. The rooms are simple but spacious and very conveniently furnished. Varied and delicious meals and unforgettable drinks on the terrace. A perfect place to enjoy a less crowded and more genuine Costiera and to start a trek or to take part to the local festivals.

  Very agreeable

  Wed been booked into the Risorgimento by New Experience travel - the next leg of our Amalfi Trek. And were nicely surprised when we strolled (knackered) into town after a couple of beers up the road in the town square to find what looked to be a decent mountain village hotel. Our superior room, however, turned out to be just up the road in the extremely well appointed Palazzo Lauritano - historic rooms and we were in the rafters in a lovely suite on the top floor. Suggest asking for superior room or this residence when you book. We ate in the Risorgimento both nights and for breakfast. Pizza is particularly excellent but all the food cooked to a very high standard by people who care to serve you. In our time then all staff we met couldnt do enough for us to make our stay most comfortable. Would highly recommend the hotel and the Palazzo Lauritano if youre up this way. One note of caution - it does seem to be a bit of a favourite for French tour parties - large tables at dinner etc.. This didnt distract from our excellent experience at all - made for great people-watching entertainment though.
