  big disappointment

  I stayed at the Wastlwirt Hotel only for one and a half day to immediately realize that I would have never booked a room with them neither I would recommend their facility to anybody. Our reservation included breakfast plus one meal a day (half-board). On the first evening, when we went down to the dining room for dinner, we were told that we would have had to pay for our meal. We went to the front desk, but the receptionist denied as well. I had to go back to the room, grab my phone and show the reservation where it was clearly stated that we had paid for it. Regardless, we still had to argue about it before being allowed to approach the buffet that by that time in the evening was almost gone. On the following morning, I broke my right foot slipping on the floor by the swimming pool, extremely slippery and unsafe. At the Tammweg Hospital the X-ray showed that the two fractures were compound and I was recommended to go to the hospital in my hometown as soon as possible. When I went back to the hotel, nobody asked what happened neither offered any assistance, despite my clearly difficult mobility since I could not stand on my foot. We decided then to go back home. We were charged of the full three days, although we spent only one night there and we were forced to leave by an accident that happened in the hotel. In addition to that, we noticed 32,70 accredited for Konsumation gastro, which we did not consume. This was not the treatment we were expecting to receive. Avoid this hotel.

  Great place!

  Front desk (Heidi), is a wonderfully friendly, happy to be there sort of person...great start when you arrive! Room and bathroom were medium to above average size. Balcony was very nice. Limited up close parking was available. Breakfast was very good. Overall a great, very well priced place to stay in a beautiful location.

  Nice location, old Hotel

  Old Hotel with a long tradition. Nice location. Comfortable beds. Unfortunately almost everything there is old and not renuvated, but what even worse - dirty. Furniture, carpets, the pool should be simply cleaned and renuvated (if not replaced). The kitchen on the flyer make impression, in reality not more than average, a bit of finesse and creativity would help. By this price... definatelly not worth.

  Disappointed

  We ended up staying one night in this hotel. Its really stuck in the 70's. I know some people like this but its so old fashioned. The decor in the restaurant was lovely and authentic but the pool area was out dated. The room was terrible apart from the new bathroom. My husband compared it to a rabbit hutch. The beds were incredibly hard and not comfortable. The staff were strange...dont know how else to describe. We left after one night as we had to go back to the UK for a problem with the family. The hotel charged us for the other 3 days even though the hotel was nearly empty. Not good customer service and a very expensive trip. We thought they would only charge us for the night or charged us a small cancellation fee but not the days we didn't spend there.

  Great view and location

  We spent 4 nights in the hotel and we liked it but it has some space for improvement. A bit oldfasioned is not a problem for us, we liked the double room, it had enough space, nice sitting area and balcony with nice view. Excelent location - ski bus stop just in front of the hotel (15 mins to ski resorts), also shops and good pizzeria just at the corner. We liked small sauna and pool as well. Breakfast was good but we did not like the coffee ... also we had bad experience with the restaurant, we had our dinners outside. All in all we do not regret and we enjoyed our stay.
