  Small and charming

  Hotel Montana is a small, but charming hotel in Telfes, Austria. It is a great place for travellers who spend the day out in the mountains, either winter or summer. Breakfast is good, Dinner comes as menu with salad, soup and dessert - and it is outstanding. You would not expect this level of cuisine in a small place like Montana. There is no need to stray away from in-hotel dinner and rather find restaurants nearby, you should definetely stay there! The hotel features parking and wifi, a ski and snowboard shack and a (small) sauna, they serve home-baked cake in the afternoon. The staff is very friendly and from very many small details you can see they simply love to run a hotel.

  Gorgeous lunches

  I had a great lunch best lunch ever. And fantastic waiters by Emma Gibbons age 9 Also great for adults! Great choice and service. We have enjoyed this restaurant on several ski trip-would highly recommend it!

  Charming

  Very good hotel. We spent the days at the Gletscher and when we come back we had the sauna to rest the body! Room is big, just need a renew in the pilows. But the highlight was the restaurant of the hotel- for dinner! Amazing! If you are there eat the Kastaniancremme!

  Dishonest and unfriendly staff

  The hotel is located in a remote place far from the Stubai Glacier. We feel tricked by the staff since we ended up paying around 200 EUR more. The accommodation and the rooms were ok, but one needs to travel a lot in order to get to the Stubai ski resort. Overall very bad price-performance ratio.

  Great cozy family owned hotel

  The hotel was small but very authentic to the mountain atmosphere. The self check in process was a breeze. The lobby is very cute, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with everything you need. The spa was a nice touch. For the quality of services, the price is very good! Parking included, also. Yes, it is not in a popular area but very close and driveable elsewhere, such as Innsbruck or the glacier. Also, the best breakfast I have ever had! Do not skip the breakfast. Everything is fresh, home made, with so many options, and local (alpine dairy, tastes like heaven!). Thank you to the owners for a great stay.
