Welcome to ugly rooms, nice restaurantUgly plastic rooms with cheap and dirty furniture (beds burnt from cigarettes). Bathroom is a plastic "all-inclusive" box with some fix needed: eg. shower. If you are the first arriving for breakfast, you'll be lucky. If you arrive when the first things are finished... then you'll have a basic breakfast ;-) Restaurant gives more satisfaction, in the average.

No airconditioning, hotel in dire need of facelift but nice pool. At 75 euros for room for night - one can't complainThis hotel just outside the village of Saint-Andiol is not a destination hotel. You'd stay here if you were on your way somewhere else, or you were in the region anyway. The hotel itself is really in dire need of a facelift - or rather an overhaul. The rooms are tiny. Difficult to find somewhere to open the suitcase. And no airconditioning. The bathroom is an interesting concept as its like having the toilet in the shower box. The whole thing - its like a kind of a bathroom in a box - is in plastic, and you have to kind of step up and into it. Don't trip. That said, they have made some effort with their shrubbery and goldfish pond, and the swimming pool seems to be new. A fine pool by the way - one you can actually have a bit of a swim in. The breakfast room opened out onto the terrace where there was the pool so that was quite pleasant. Breakfast was functional enough. The basics. There was plenty of parking and the whole thing was secure with a gate that locks at night (don't forget your code if you go out). At 75 euros for the night for the room, I guess its ok. But you wouldn't want to be spending too much time there. Staff were friendly.

Actually in an industrial Estate!!!Was bit hard to find in the dark and our sat nav was sending us in circles. But its built in the industrial estate with no other facilities near by. After waiting in the reception for nearly 10 minutes reading all the notices, no one was around. Poking my head around various doors I eventually went into the restaurant. That's where they have check in!! But no notice of this anywhere. The rooms are extremely small. We had booked this hotel as they accept dogs but I wasn't please at the fact I got charged 16 Euros per night for them and only to find carpet on the floor. The bathroom is like elevated up and its like showering in a caravan. All made out of light brown plastic. So don't put your cosmetics etc around the sink area as everything is in for a soaking. Water pressure is very good though. Only a small window. No aircon and absolutely sweltering in the room. I think I read a notice that you could rent fans at a hefty price...... luckily we had our own. The room was fairly clean except for stained carpet. We did 2 nights here which was ok to see the surrounding areas. We didn't eat in the restaurant there but it seemed very nice and a few people dining there. There is a pool but we didn't use it (or see it) for that matter. Plenty of parking. Was nice and quiet. Walls a bit thin and I could here upstairs. Price related to the room is a bit on the expensive side. OK for a stop over which is all we really wanted. Just happy to find hotels that accept our beloved dogs. Breakfast is continental buffet style which is also not that bad.

OK as a place to sleep...but that's allHidden behind an agricultural suppliers, this 'hotel' is not ideal if comfortable surroundings, good housekeeping and friendly service are on your list of requirements. The rooms at Lou Mistralou are (very) small, as has been mentioned in other reviews...although this was not a major problem as I was on my own...but had I been there with my partner, I think it would have been very difficult. Although my room was initially clean, the standard of bed-making and general/bathroom cleaning significantly declined across the five days I was there until, frankly, I felt I would rather do those things myself. The shower was broken...the room was not hoovered at any point during my stay and my bottled water was taken by the cleaning staff. Breakfast was very edible but it is hard to get it wrong with the basics - cut chunks of baguette with a selection of ham, cheese and various jams, mini croissants and/or pain au chocolat and fresh fruit; coffee is from a machine - and you do have to be early to have a reasonable choice of bread and fruit as the supplies seem to be very limited. Dinner was hugely over-priced and the food was swimming in oil. Staff were...invisible for the most part...and rude when I was checking out. A car is essential as there is no public transport nearby..,and while the nights were quiet during during the week there were people (including children) running around and shouting at all times of the day and night at the weekend.

Small rooms but good over night stayWe stopped here overnight on our way down to Frejus. For a family of 5 the room was small but ok for the one night. The kids loved the swimming pool and the hotel was easy to find. The breakfast was good and for the price it was a good deal The Hotel is a bit pricey for drinks and meals but about a mile away we found a nice Pizzera which was really good My only problems were the staff were not very friendly and we had no air con for the room
