  Great value....no air conditioning in summer

  This was my first stay at Landaus Feckl hotel (they have a second property as well about a mile away, but I stayed at the main hotel). It is a very good value hotel. Americans visiting during summer month please note that there is no air-conditioning, at night, it can get humid, and I was sweating and gasping for air. Staff speaks English, and are very friendly. I needed an iron one day and the lady at the front desk arranged for it. Room was a bit small, but was clean, housekeeping did a great job at cleaning every day. Bathroom was very good as well. I have written a separate review for the Restaurant (gave it 5 stars) ate dinner and breakfast there and it was fantastic. Breakfast is not included in the hotel price, so you will need to make separate reservations for that. If you miss a breakfast reservation (as it happened to me) they would charge you for the full price of breakfast. So please be mindful, if you make a breakfast reservation, and for some reason your plan changed, and you forgot to let the hotel know about it....they will add it to your bill at check out. They also have a courtesy shuttle, and the very friendly drivers will whisk you away at the train station, or close by destinations. All in all small issues, but a great value. I will not hesitate booking again for fall/winter months. Summer months, maybe not.

  Very comfortable, friendly hotel

  Hotel is decorated in a cute country inn style. Room was nice size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was top notch as was dinner. Staff friendly. I was there on a business trip- I don't think the area is interesting from a sightseeing perspective.

  Pleasant Room and Incredible Food

  Our stay in October 2016 was our second experience of Landhaus Feckl hospitality and amazing food. The staff was friendly and gracious. The rooms are clean, comfortable and pleasant. The food in the dining room was really spectacular and the serving staff was exceptional. The breakfast in the morning was well prepared and varied. Frau Feckl is an experienced manager of the hotel and dining room. Her husband, Herr Feckl is the Chef responsible for the amazing food. If you are not staying at the hotel be sure to have dinner or lunch in the dining room. We love this place! Four stars for lodging and five stars for food!

  Excellent hotel but a bit isolated...

  We stayed there for 3 nights as we could not stay in their beautiful apartments due to our pets. There is both outdoor and underground parking. Our room was spacious (113) but too close to the street thus a bit noisy (there is no a/c). It is near walking trails (great for dogs). Awesome breakfast both buffet-style and a la carte. They also have an excellent restaurant, pricy but totally worth it! Overall, great services.

  Good value, no air conditioning, no staff available at the desk for Sunday arrivals

  Good sized room for 1 person (a business traveler) with a nice clean bathroom. Nice working desk and good free WIFI. No iron in the room, but one provided if you ask. The Minibar has a good and free selection of drinks. If you plan to arrive on a Sunday, remember the code that gets emailed to you and the instructions to get in through the night entrance or else you will have a problem getting to your room.
