  Habitación genial

  La habitación super buena pero el servicio muy regular. - HABITACIÓN más amplia de lo normal en cualquier hotel (era una doble Deluxe con cama supletoria), diseño muy actual, se ve muy nuevo, con colores alegres y decoración acogedora. La cama espectacularmente cómoda (salvo las almohadas), baño muy chulo pero sin puerta y aparte estaba el WC con puerta, TV enorme... lo único negativo el escaso espacio de armario. - ZONAS COMUNES: tiene un restaurante que sirve también a clientes de fuera y está bien. Además tienen el comedor donde dan el desayuno que es muy acogedor. - DESAYUNO: muy normalito. - UBICACIÓN: para nosotros buena para acceder en poco tiempo a lo que queríamos ver (principalmente Giethoorn), aunque el pueblo no tiene nada, pero está junto a la calle comercial por si necesitas algo. - APARCAMIENTO: enfrente, aunque es público y no está vigilado, es gratuito. - PERSONAL. Regular. En general bordes. El mejor ejemplo la chica de recepción, la pedimos 1 almohada extra para mi mujer y otra para mi y nos dijo que ya había 2, pero como le intentamos explicar no era así pues 1 de ellas la habían puesto para la cama de la niña y la 2ª extra se la pusimos a la niña, pero se veía que pasaba del tema y nos dijo que no había más. Es la 1ª vez que me pasa esto de las almohadas en un hotel. Por cierto, se la veía en general un poco crecidita.

  Perfect op place to stay and dine.

  Very helpful and understanding staff. Never had a better place to spend the evening and night! Close to theater, cinema, town center, shops but also good for visiting nature and other places like Urk, Giethoorn, Schokland.

  Great place to stay. Clean and good restaurant Rooms are clean. There are building works going on at the side and front of the building. The room we had was big but did not like the area by the clothes as it has a sharp corner. But in general very good. Would go again so do not let my comment on the clothes hanging area put you off. Easy to visit places as well

  A fine 3-week work stay

  :) My partner, his dad (both from Sweden) and I stayed 3 weeks in t Voorhuys for work. The staff was very friendly and even in the difficult COVID times the restaurant had a nice menu. (Their tomato soup is fantastic!!) The location was perfect and made the stay a lot more pleasant. The parking in front is very large and free, which was also great. :( Unfortunately the COVID-19 safety measures were very disappointing. The receptionists often forgot to wear their masks, the kitchen staff did not wear masks at all (we could see this from the window of our room) and the cleaning staff also did not wear masks or gloves when entering each room. The cleaning itself should also be improved, as there had been coffee stains on the stairs and railing for the entire 3 weeks that we were there. This shows that the cleaning was done very poorly. I had to specifically ask the cleaning ladies to vacuum under the beds, as they seemed not to do this regularly. Twice when I was in my room, someone entered without knocking or asking. (first one of the cleaning ladies and the second time a maintenance guy.) This felt a bit inappropriate and should not happen. And non of them was wearing a mask or gloves. Also, the shower had no partition to stop the water, which resulted in a complete wet floor after every shower.

  Beautyfull hotel on perfect location!

  Nice hotel on a perfect location, close to the city centre, free parking, and the possibility to charge a car. Nice and friendly staff! Because of Covid-19 they offer a take away breakfast, what is realy good. Also the take away diner is perfect, they give a phonecall when it`s ready for pick up.
