  Typical german countryside hotel

  We did not actually stayed in the hotel, but visited it for a lunch. To be honest it is not the best place for a lunch. The chart is more orietentated for dinners. The food was OK, same as the price. There were plenty parking places, but in December we were nearly the only guests.

  Room was ok for it's price range but although it was clean, there were scuff marks on the walls. Dining room was typical small German Hotel style which was ok but the conservatory part was quite depressing and the biggest problem was that there was no lounge area to relax through the day, only a large table adjoining the dining room and near the very small bar area. The reception area contained two old chairs and a small table. No imagination had been used by the owners to improve this area at all and all the office type parifenalia was visible behind the reception desk. The car parking was good and the Hotel was situated right by a lake and was twenty minutes walk via the lake to the banks of the Rhine.

  Enjoyed it very much

  I've stayed here for two nights on a business trip and loved it. The hotel is located in the countryside, next to a huge and beautiful lake. Therefore it's quiet and peaceful. After a stressful day in the office you can either enjoy a cold beer on their romantic terrace or have a long walk around the lake (7.5 km). Service was friendly and helpful. Rooms are little bit outdated but clean and modern bathroom. More then enough free parking spots available. Duisburg is a 15min drive away. You can also visit Moers, a smaller town with several restaurant - 5min drive. I will be back very soon.

  Friendly and cozy hotel

  I had to make a stop in Moers as I was driving from UK to Denmark and chose this hotel kind of randomly as I was tired. While Moers is nothing special the hotel was a pleasant surprise. The staff didn't speak much English but they were super excited to have a non German staying there (I guess not this is not a place with many International tourists) that they were very accommodating and friendly. The room was nice and essential and the hotel is in a very nice spot close to a lake.

  Nice hotel - don't arrive late!

  I stayed here for a couple of days when on a business trip. It is a bit out in the countryside, the taxi driver I had struggled to find it. The hotel is nice, the room was comfortable and clean. My flight was heavily delayed on the way out so I arrived at 1am in the morning. This isn't the sort of place that has 24 hour reception.... I had to call and wake someone up to be able to get in. I couldn't get the Wifi in my room to connect properly - it was very very slow. The breakfast was reasonably good. I wouldn't stay here again in business in Duisburg but I don't think they are really aiming for the business market.
