  quiet logis de france near big park

  We chose the hotel because it belongs to the "logis de france" group, which generally is really good. We were not disappointed. The hotel is in a quiet area, romms recently renovated (VERY high quality installations in the bathroom), very fast check-in, friendly personnel, good beds. We could not try the restaurant, because it was closed on sunday, but the bar had a nice terrasse with a strong smell of the jasmine tree near-by. The only negative point is the missing air conditioning - you have to keep the window open, and there are moskitoes in the area.

  Nice location

  This hotel is in a lovely location in relation to the park. Lovely to walk through. The room is nice. Bit on the small side though. The hotel has a restaurant and bar but the menu looks a bit expensive. 18 - 32 and doesn't start serving until 1930hrs. There is nothing close that serves food earlier either, so I ordered a pizza to be delivered to eat in my room. The Wifi is terrible. Wouldn't connect for ages, then when it did, the speed was useless. So I turned it off. I think for the price I payed for the room (80 euros) I've stopped in much better for the money. The staff are very friendly. I don't think I would stop here again unless the room was much cheaper.

  Good price for a two bedroom suite

  We stayed here going down through France, as a family with two children and a dog. For a very reasonable price we had a two bedroom suite. We didn't eat in the restaurant, and the area is very quiet, so we had to go into Dijon town centre to find something to eat. There's a nice park close by where you can walk the dog.

  Nice hotel for stopover

  Have been ther for one night with our 3 kids and 2 dogs. Was a stopover on our way to Southern France. Hotel is good and clean but nothing special. Rooms are quite small but tidy and having all you need apart from air conditioning. The location is perfect. Close to the highway and next to the park. The restaurant was offering a barbeque in the evening which was really good. Good starters and different kinds of meat and fish. Would chose this hotel again for a short stay.

  Misleading pricing

  The hotel is in a convenient location and the rooms are nice. However our issue is with the food pricing. The restaurant menu is rather expensive and the wine list all very expensive for what is on offer. Given the proximity to the town, we found a very nice restaurant with a good atmosphere within a 5 minute walk. The biggest issue we had was with the breakfast. When we checked in we were advised that the breakfast would be 9 euros. This was also backed up by the information in the room. Breakfast itself was fine, plenty of bread, some fruit, cheese and good coffee etc. When we came to pay, we were advised that the cost was 10 euros as we had booked online. The receptionist would not accept that we were advised otherwise, and when she offered to prove it in the terms and conditions, she could not. Obviously the price itself was not the issue, it is the principle that we were mislead on the price and they would not back down on this. In conclusion, the food prices were high, and then we were mislead on the breakfast prices
