  Very nice guesthouse hotel

  Very welcoming and serviceminded staff and always at hand. Clean and newly very well and nicely renovated! We stayed in room #1 with four beds and it was just perfect. This is not a branded hotel but they have done all they can to get it up to standard. The breakfast is ok and the food with their schnitzels and super sized (1 kg) hamburger is very good, so there is no meaning in going elsewhere for better food or better prices! If you are about to stay for a night before or after the ferry to Scandinavia this is a mutch better deal and value for money than staying in Lübeck or Travemünde, it is well worth the short drive from there! You can really relax in this quiet town and the warm relaxed atmosphere at this hotel! Pricewise you simply get a lot for the money and i hope they continue to ceep this newly renovated hotel as clean and fresh as it is. For us the small TV was never an issue, the beds worked out very well for us but if there is one thing they can improove it is the wifi signal wich is weak or none existing on the top floor. Owerall a very nice experiense and since it is a gasthaus well over our expectasions. The town has all you need and the prices are low. If you can think beyond branded hotels this can bee the place for you! We recomend it!

  Such a wonderful guesthouse.

  We had such a wonderful experience here! We walked in just to get a drink and a bite to eat and ended up staying the night. :) The town is just awesome - quaint, but lots of fun! The room was all we needed - very comfortable bed, clean bathroom and quiet. The staff was very tolerant of our rudimentary German language skills (in fact, we ended up using a translation app - which provided lots of laughs) and they were soooo nice! The food was excellent (we stopped in for strudel and ended up eating dinner and breakfast here)

  Business stay-bad experiance

  I booked 4 nights. I infored that I will check in approx. 11:00 pm. I got infor how to get a key, but no info about room number, I was trying all romms in the middle of the night.... then someone went into my room at night! Staff does not speak English, no picking up the phone aldo no wi-fi, so I couldn't work! No information about accomodation, when to pay and when I went to restaurant it was difficult to communicate. Also when I finaly founf my room it looked used, bins were with waste...
