  Fabulous!

  I have recently stayed in the Hotel Residence National Park with my boyfriend during our skiing trip to Italy. It was overall really good experience. On arrival we were greeted by very nice owner Roberta. The place had very friendly and warm feel. Extremely kind staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms have just what you need- hot water, comfortable bed and space to leave your luggage. Really if you going for skiing or trekking trip you don't need tv and all facilities that are not essential. Rooms were cleaned every day. And that's what this place is about- for a fraction of the price you get what you need. We were so tired after skiing all day we would have a drink at the lobby bar (great prices and honest measures!). There was fantastic team of entertainers (TJ and Andre if I haven't confused the names). What I really loved about the hotel was the fact that there was so many people from Italy , France etc that I forgot that I live in London- it was a blessing! We would ski in Valididentro, Livigno and Bormio. There is a bus that takes you to bormio or Livigno, but since we drove from England we opted for driving. Breakfast was lovely - typical choice of continental food and local delicatessen. Overall I really recommend this place- you won't be disappointed!

  Friendly staff

  This is the fifth year we have stayed at the Hotel National Park and it is always good. The staff are friendly and food excellent. The rooms could benefit from refurbishment but that doesn't detract from the quality off the stay for us

  if your face fits ?

  This was the 3rd time of staying here, and I have very mixed views. first year very good the usual friendly staff, big rooms, excellent food But a vey very cold room! The second time was the same, I even slept with my hat on! This time I even took my own sleeping bag with me ! But to my surprise our room was nice and warm! the shower well it wet everything in the room but was nice and warm and clean. Our room was on the second floor. Breakfast, well this is the reason for my title!! Apparently only the adults are allowed a Croissants!??! and only some adults, we had to find and speak to the owner every morning just to ask for a croissant, not what you would expect. We were told by the waiter man ' the croissants are not for you they are for the other guests' (even though we would of paid the same) I mean a croissant not a stake! Then on our last morning the plate was brought out with the croissants on??? The evening meal was always very good with plenty of variety. We were unlucky as there was a school staying that had a disco nearly every night which was very very noisy! this wouldn't be so bad but we had to be up early for ski races and they did not. They banged on walls and made lots of noise late at night. The carpark is very icy, be careful. I Think a change of hotel will be in order next year, sorry Hotel Residence National Park.
