  Overnight Stay on route to Italy

  Our main reason for staying here was that it broke up our journey from the UK to Italy nicely and that they allowed dogs to stay. We used it as an overnight stop-over and found the location lovely and peaceful. The room for a family of four plus dog was spacious, clean and had everything that we needed. It even had a small kitchenette in the corner so we could have made something to eat in the evening/morning if we wanted. I can't comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat in the hotel, but instead ventured out into the town which was has a lovely pretty historic centre with plenty of restaurants to choose from. The hotel itself overlooks the Spa facilities set in a large open park. If we stay there again we would be tempted to check out the Spa for a morning/afternoon.

  A very pleasant stay

  As part of our long trip from Bangor (Ireland) to Bobbio (Italy) in the footsteps of St Columbanus, we had to stay in Luxeuil les Bains where he set up his three monasteries in the 5th and 6th Centuries! We stayed four nights at Les Sources which served our purpose perfectly. It is a short ten minute walk fro the railway station and there is a small Carrefour supermarket across the road. Our park view room was large and comfortable and the small kitchenette was very useful. There are very few restaurants in Luxeuil and we were tired of eating out every night on this long trip. We enjoyed four perfectly cooked dinners with wine, in relaxed surroundings, at a fraction of the cost of going out! For those with a car (we rented one here to get out to some of the rural sites we needed to visit) there is a really good modern Lidl and a huge Auchon hypermarket on the ring road. There is a very helpful and friendly reception and this Apart Hotel is an excellent place to stay. It may be slightly more expensive than some others but it is money well spent, especially with the savings made by self catering.

  Pleasant stay with family

  Booked two rooms. Stayed over for one night. Clean and functional rooms, nothing fancy, got quiet rooms overlooking the park. Seems that all rooms are equipped with kitchenette. No restaurant but there are many places at walking distance, They do serve breakfast and that was good. Staff was kind. For a weekend, Luxeuil is a good small town to visit.

  Very quiet in Mid December - but would go again

  Business visit with a colleague. We arrived in -6C and it was late, just ahead of the reception closing. The man at the desk was very nice and very quick. Thank you ! No food available so we "ran" into town and found 1 place open. Maybe only 5 or 6 rooms occupied but the hotel was warm and quiet. Breakfast help yourself and very good. Check out swift.

  Perfectly good and reasonably priced hotel

  Yes, have been here a few times and am happy to keep coming back. Flights and hire cars mean I arrive late (after 9pm) so this means Reception is closed. They text me a code for the entrance and my room number and it all works just great. Breakfast is really nice as well.
