  Room ok, but restaurant poor

  Basic room but had a/c and WiFi that mostly works. Took a full day to clear room service tray and noisy music in hotel corridor. Biggest issue was hotel restaurant with poor service. No milk for cornflakes, no butter for toast and it continued...

  Terrible place for the price

  Stayed there for a couple of days. The mattresses are soft and sinking at the middle. The AC was directly above the bedhead. The internet was poor and barely worked. The room was not properly cleaned. They only gave one towel. The complimentary breakfast is an insult, one is given a choice of 2 items from a list of 8-10 including instant coffee!!! Too much noise in the evening at times till late at night from the pool bar. Overall, very poor service

  The Worst Hotel in Abuja

  My experience here was terrible and regrettable due to the poor quality of service and lack of professionalism on the part of the staff. The culture here at the hotel is out of tune and reality with the 21st century! I came for a business meeting with my team, full of high expectations. However, we were so disappointed due to mosquito invasion of the meeting room. It was really bad, surprising and disruptive. This resulted in abrupt truncation of our meeting, loss of valuable time and inability to achieve our objectives within the set time frame. Consequently, we decided to look for another place to conclude our meeting for the remaining days we had. While waiting at a certain section of the facility for the staff to do something about the situation, we spotted a grand piano and I decided to play a piece to calm my colleagues down for the brief moment. However, while playing, I got the shock of my life when a staff with rather timid mien, came to tell me his "Oga", the owner of the hotel gave an instruction that no one should touch or play the piano. I apologized and left. After all, hostile mosquitoes had already given us quit notice, the guy only came to ratify the message - 'our hotel is only friendly enough to get your money, but not fit for purpose in every sense of it!' As I left, I kept on reflecting on the whole scenario... Why invite customers to a conference room already occupied by other customers - mosquitoes? Why put a piano (merely for decoration) in a place accessible to visitors. Perhaps a written notice could have been placed on top of the gadget by the owner/manager to save the poor lad the stress of going to tell every single visitor that ventures to the arena about the instructions of the faceless hotel owner. I suppose this was just a little dose of the unpleasant surprises Hotel Reno has to offer. I leave that to others to discover and share their experience.
