  Great base for a Maremma trip

  We stayed there with a group of wine-lover-friends in order to visit the surrouding wineyards and distilleries, therefore the location was just perfect for our needs, just on the main road connecting Siena with Grosseto, you cannot really miss it even without a GPS navigator. Coming from Siena (north) you will need to pay attention, since you will have to turn left in road where it is forbidden, just continue straight ahead and you will find a roundabout, from the opposite direction the right turn is a simple one. The Hotel is composed of a building that embraces the big lawn and swimming pool, the reception, the gym and some rooms can only be accessed directly from the lawn, it's great on summer time but I can imagine it might be annoying during and rainy day. The rooms are spacious and recently redecorated, the bathroom is also spacious and the glass door shower is really nice, there a minbar in case you want to keep cool your Sangiovese. The swimming pool was empty when we were there (March) but it should be great to enjoy the marvellous scenery when soaked. The staff really makes you feel part of the family, some of the nicest persons I ever met.

  Great hotel

  This is a lovely little hotel offering great value accommodation. The rooms, whilst not very big, are clean and well appointed. The pool area is lovely with plenty of loungers/seating. You do need a car if staying here. The town is walkable but not very accessible. The homemade cookies and cake at breakfast are nice. The family who own and run the hotel are very helpful and welcoming.

  Outstanding hotel

  What an unexpected gem of a hotel! Tucked away at the end of its gravel drive, the Relais Santa Genoveffa is a beautiful, quiet haven with sublime views across beautiful countryside. There are activities (mountain bikes, archery) and a pool, though on a biking trip we didn't take advantage of those - but it suggests it'd be a good place for a family holiday. The rooms are a good size, air-conditioned and comfortable. The restaurant is good value and the food delicious. A lovely place - highly recommended.

  Visited with Study Abroad Program

  Visited this gorgeous B&B with my study abroad program. They so graciously accepted us in as one of their own. They fed us an exquisite dinner alongside their own house wine from their vineyards. We were greeted with an amazing breakfast of cappuccinos, meats, cheese, yogurt, homemade cookies and more. Their whole property filled us with so much joy. We spent hours in the pool, which was so nice on a hot italy day. Just remember to being bug spray as you're in the hills of Tuscany and will get eaten alive if dont prevent yourself. Definitely say hello to their dog and kitty, they are very loving.
