  nice small hotel chain

  i love this hotel, right in Clis Road, Sendai. We were easily finding the place when we arrived at Sendai station at night. Take the west exist then we tried to follow the walking direction from google map (offline), soon found a canopy road (i think it's already Clis Road), went through that road, the hotel is after one cross of that road. It's quite uplifting, since last year i had difficulties to locate a hotel di Tokyo. The hotel is clean, as mostly Japan hotel, room is small, but they managed to have the rooms well-designed. i didn't excpect a bath tub, but they have, and it is comfortable. and we didn't find difficuties to pack our luggage. for us, nothing to complain about. will definitely stay here when i'm back to sendai.

  Comfortable and practical

  Great location, easy to navigate to from the Sendai JR station. The room was quite small for two people, but comfortable and easy on the wallet. Staff spoke English well enough, and held our bags for us before we left the city. The location was perfect, right in a main shopping arcade. As other users have written, it is easy to miss the entrance if you aren't looking hard enough for it as it is recessed a bit from the main street.

  Very disappointing, would not use if you can avoid it

  We have been in Japan for a couple of weeks now and this is by far the worst hotel we have stayed at. The hotel is very centrally placed which is why we are staying here but if I had known what it was like before I paid I would not have stayed. The rooms and decor are very tired and grimy looking. The corridors smell, presumably from smokers. As does our tiny plastic pod of a bathroom which makes it unpleasant to use ( stale urinal smell). Breakfast is a plentiful buffet but the quality low. We are staying to visit my son in Sendai and hotels here have been fairly booked up due to a concert somewhere in town. This is all that was left and compared to our beautiful accomodation in other parts of Japan for similar cost this is a real disappointment. Could not recommend.

  Ok, but wouldn't stay again.

  The feature that did for me was the front desk receptionist being up a fairly long flight of stairs . Having a back and knee issue, this made it hard without one of my party carrying my case up. The room was ok but no cooling from Aircon, only heat. Opening window lead to noise and strong cooking smells. The bathroom pod was high up from bedroom floor, higher than others we used. Again hard for a problem knee. Breakfast was fair value. No Marge or butter on one morning, but a good range of foods kept us going. Coffee was either from a jug or a machine. The latter was better but the wait in line didn't really make it worthwhile.

  Good choice

  The hotel is in an arcade street quite close to the train station. It's very well located, with a lot of shops and restaurants very close and protected from rain, snow, etc. The rooms are not big, but enough. The staff is very friendly and kind and you can use the laundry for free! I would repeat if I go to Sendai again!
