  Worth staying

  High level 3 star Hotel! Kind and polite staff, comfortable location and big rooms! worth visiting and worth booking! it's 6 km from the lift in Ortisei, you can find here a parking place and all you will need during staying you can ask owners for! they are very friendly!

  Pontives Hotel

  We are living now in Pontives hotel and we are very satisfied! Fantastic kitchen,every day new menu with different local dishes, and very- very clever, friendly stuff! We are fell ourself like at home. Recommend this hotel to rest in mountains with the family! Very good service for skiriders, they have shuttle bus for transport ions to the ski slopes. WiFi working very good!

  Faultless stay! Staff so welcoming, and great food!

  We had the most wonderful stay in Pontives. It really felt like a home away from home. The staff couldnt have been more helpful! I was working remotely and I felt so well looked after when the rest of my party was off skiing. We also had our dog with us and this was no problem at all. The food in the restaurant was fantastic, and so reasonable. The group was unanimous - the very best gnocchi con Gorgonzola (so light), schnitzel and goulash! Ooh and the tiramisu and strudel! Divine! Also a super buffet starter included in dinner price. Breakfast was also great. Our room was a good size and nice hot, powerful shower. A quick drive into Ortisei and a lovely walk in the hills right beside the hotel. Couldnt fault anything with our stay. Great transfer service from hotel to ski lifts or centre of town, and return. Just have to phone driver! There was also a ski rental discount at Carlos in town, and they dropped off and collected gear from hotel. We are hoping to stay again this year! For the food alone... Highly recommend!!!

  Excellent value, good service

  There were 4 of us traveling on motorcycles. Asked if they had rooms with separate beds. They didn't just then, so the owner (I presume) gave all four of us a room of our own. With no extra cost. The food in the restaurant was good and there was plenty of it. All in all a great stay.

  Cosy, friendly, good food and good service

  This is a traditional, family-run inn between Ortisei and Laion. The public rooms and the food look good, and the latter is also very tasty and satisfying - there was never any danger of feeling hungry! We were here for 4 nights at the end of January on a weekend ski break, and were on half-board. The location 3km from central Ortisei was no problem, thanks to the fast and efficient on-request shuttle service. The proprietor and staff were very friendly and helpful, but their English is not strong and this might limnit their helpfulness for some! The house wine served by the 1/4 or 1/2 litre was local and very good value. Our room was spacious and clean, and overall we were very happy to be there, and would be happy to return.
