Good location but rude staff and uncomfortable roomsI stayed with a friend at this hotel for a birthday getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were met by a cold and unhelpful service. The staff at the reception often looked angry and miserable as though they were not happy working there. Apart from a very polite and helpful male waiter at the hotel's restaurant bar, everyone else delivered a very poor customer service. The room we stayed in was stuffy with a mouldy smell, so we had to keep the window open despite the cold. The pillows and bed were awful and gave me a bad neck and back ache. Hardly any of the staff could (or wanted to) speak English, so you need to know German to be able to communicate in this hotel or in this city as a whole. When we booked the hotel, we bought a deal that includes late checkout until 3pm. However the hotel reception refused to honour the deal and we had to check out at 11am despite paying for 3pm check-out (not that we wanted to stay longer there anyway!). The pool and spa next to the hotel are not included in the booking and you need to pay an extra fee to use them. All in all I had a very unpleasant stay at this hotel an wouldn't recommend it if you want to avoid rude angry-looking staff, uncomfortable rooms, and unhelpful service. Personally I won't go there again!

Mediocre hotelThe hotel is nicely located near the lake. The arrival was a strange experience, where a sign at the door, informed you to call a number, somewhere else and ask to be let into the hotel. Then instructed, that our keys would be in the door. No staff were in the hotel. The rooms was nice and clean, but one of the beds was some kind of travelbed with wheels and absolutely poor madres. After a bad night sleep we asked for a bed like the rest, but was only offered a topmadres. It helped, but not an acceptable solution. The breakfast buffet was nice and well assorted.

Externally bad service! We booked a weekend vacation at this Hotel. when we booked over the phone we informed them that we will arrive late due to business event that I am attending. The reception assured to my wife that you close at 23:00! I arrived after driving 6 hours at 22:15 to see that they don't care about their customers and they simply closed the hotel and went home!! They wrote me an email an hour before closing asking us to confirm that we will arrive. I am not so sure about the law in Germany but where we come from we are not allowed to text or email while driving! beside we did not have internet access at that time to check email and confirm. It would be nicer if they have called us. I was travelling with my pregnant wife and a small child and they really made them suffer!! I checked the booking paper you provided many times and I can't see anywhere that they specified the closing time of the reception and they don't have it at their website. I truly wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone that wants to enjoy a vacation and would like to avoid trouble. PS. the reception does not speak English and when we called them just to make the booking they said we are too busy to help you and send us an email and we will book you when we have the time!

Good hotel with viewWe came here for the second time this year and like it. Basic but clean and nice hotel. Fine service. We had our breakfast in the room due to buffet was closed due to Corona. Very fine for us as we have our nice big dog with us who is not allowed in the breakfast restaurant, understandably. Nice restaurant for dinner where dog is allowed so we enjoyed dinner there. One comment to the restaurant. The wine was too expensive compared to quality but all the rest was fine food and service.
