  Noise noise noise

  I was in this hotel 50 years ago and decided to go back for a few days to enjoy nature and the silence of the mountains around....but.... We arrived on a complete construction site with the noise of heavy working machines around. First they tried to give us a very very old fashion small room with just to old beds in it. Then we got - after paying more - a good room in a new part. This was a luxury room but the view only on construction sites. We left after half an hour. They promised me to pay back. They did but not the full amount as promised. I can only advise to avoid this noisy and ugly place.

  Nice hotel, rooms need updating

  A lot of work done on the public areas and dining facilities, without losing the charm of a traditional hotel. Rooms are comfortable, although the bathrooms could do with a bit of updating. Food is good and wine reasonably priced. Good breakfasts. Convenient to ski bus to Ortisei (hourly). Warning - after 5pm the jacuzzi and sauna are "Finnish style" (naked) after 5pm and not suitable for families or Brits!

  Welcoming hotel, great food and good spa

  Stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during a recent ski safari in the Dolomites. The welcome from the staff was very warm and the evening meals in the Stubbe were well cooked and presenteted. There was also a good, reasonably priced wine selection to complement the meals. The ski bus leaves direrctly outside the hotel and the spa area is nice to relax in after a day on the mountain. It would be good to return to this hotel next season.

  Two night stay as part of Inspired Italy Dolomite Ski Safari

  We stayed at the hotel as the first and last night of our amazing Dolomite Ski Safari with Inspired Italy (you must do this if you want the best alpine downhill piste skiing holiday in the Dolomites). The Hotel Platz was absolutely perfect for our first and last nights. Warm, friendly, welcoming, good food, and comfortable rooms. Yes a few of the rooms could do with a bit of updating - our first night was in a recently refurbished one and the last night in a slightly older one - both very good for tired skiers who'd fed and watered well in the bar and restaurant.

  Lovely stay

  I only stayed 1 night with my boyfriend in a small but very cosy room. The spa was just perfect after a day skiing and the breakfast in the morning was delicious! Lots and lots of options! It is in a small street just on top of Ortisei so a car is advise! Very recommended if you like a quite but cosy place ti stay.
