Good Services / old roomsFor sure lady at reception is really nice and help at all! Breakfast is quite good , but old rooms , noisy air conditioning and not to have a lift is something that make this review not good at all. Maybe other rooms are better, but mine was small size and old fashion.

Quite comfortableI stayed here for three nights. The hotel is not bad, the staff are friendly and helpful. I found it quite comfortable staying there. The rooms are of a decent size and they get more than enough towels. Breakfast was acceptable and there was enough for everybody. The air conditioning unit was buzzing all day, but didn't really pump any cold air, whilst others I know had felt it was too chilly. It's not ideal, but it's not that important.

Rude & Very Poor ServiceI have to say that i have been in many hotels all over the world and this hotel is rate number 1 on my list of how rude they were to me. I do not ask for much only to be treated with respect after all i was not staying here for free therefore i can expect at least that as a guess. There are many other hotels in the area please i really urge you to stay somewhere else, on top of that it was not clean and everything about my trip was ruined because of them. I hope this helps, since i always look at other people's reviews to help with my trips and i know how important this is.

Needs a good make overWould rate this Hotel as a 3 star and not a 4 star. Our stay was comfortable and the staff are super efficient and friendly and make up for the initial impression if this outdated and cluttered Hotel. The double rooms are large but your single rooms are tiny and some smell of cigarette smoke. The rooms appear clean clean but we did spot a cockroach here and there. The breakfast is substandard - the same cold watery scrabbled eggs and Vienna sausages are served every day. Wifi is weak and the air conditioner automatically switches off in the middle of the night. The only plus is The Restaurant which is definitely 5 star.

Return VisitThe Piroga Hotel near Padova is in a great location for getting to Venice, exploring Padova or to go on further as I did for a day trip to the Dolomites. I have stayed here previously and loved the great staff and service and the hotel gave good value for the standard of rooms and facilities. I'm both pleased and sad on my return. The staff are still excellent - from reception to bar, restaurant and breakfast service as well as cleaners all of the staff greet you with a hello and a smile. Nothing is too much bother. The hotel on the other hand is starting to look and feel unloved. The coffee machines produce probably the worst I've had in Italy, the toaster worked on only one side, the room decor is tired and worn, the bathrooms and equipment in them broken or repaired - nothing major but noticeable. The aircon didn't work in my room but did in my mothers. No tea and coffee in rooms but free toiletries and a pay minibar. Whilst nothing major is wrong 4 star hotel should be better. That said the meal in the restaurant was excellent and choice at breakfast good. I will return as the price is generally good for the service and rooms offered. A refurbishment would soon bring a 5 star review!
