  Budgeting Hotel

  it's been long time I have visited this Hotel. I liked the location as it is close to Mall Road. if you are looking for something in lowest budget then this hotel is good and they are having good staff. Recommended

  Hotel Pineview!

  Had a wonderful experience! Recommend the same for everyone! It's a beautiful hotel, with wonderful, caring & very professional staff. Those who enjoy Classics should understand what I mean. The staff rotates around two central figures, Mr. Shukram Sharma & Mr. Baldev, who are always present at the reception for assistance of the guests. The Mall is a short climb from the back entrance of the hotel & along the way one comes across some local daily Shimla life. The railway station is also a short distance away. Lastly, the view is as the name suggests, a beautiful view of Pine forest, with occasional glimpses of Hanuman Langurs & Rhesus Monkeys. That's Hotel Pineview for you!

  An overnight stay at a hotel in Shimla

  Had stayed at this budget hotel in Shimla a long back ago. This hotel is located close to Shimla railway station and Mall road. This hotel offers a restaurant as well as a dining room. The rooms are small having basic amenities like double bed, bathroom, TV, balcony etc. Some rooms have a circular bed. The reception desk is small and the lobby is big. This lobby had a fireplace before renovation. After renovation, the fireplace has been removed and extra sofas and windows have been installed. The hotel service was good. The rates were so somewhat reasonable. This hotel is ideal for an overnight stay as well as a two day stay for families, couples, backpackers as well as friends when in Shimla.

  Pathetic attitude and service

  The staff before even checking the booking told us they have no booking for us, because I booked two rooms for two nights and only me and my spouse arrived not parents. They upgraded us hence to a bigger room as I paid for four room nights. While my package was CP as soon as I went for breakfast the rude staff told me I can order only one dish from menu, wondering why someone will pay Rs.500/- difference just for omlet. I paid the staff a huge tip just to make them realise its not about being free but a service towards a package which includes things. Poor quality heater given in room and one could barely survive. The staff at reception made up for it and other staffs were humble too but not worth it.

  Pathetic staff and service

  First impression of the hotel when we entered was good, room were also OK and hotel is near to mall road but real problem started at night when our room light was gone for about 1 hour and when we checked that it is our floor area light gone and other rooms in fourth floor and beyond have lights, we moved to the reception to ask why light is not coming in our room only. The staff instead of apologizing to us , they were showing attitude and told that they don't know when light will come and you can leave the hotel if you are facing problem what a pathetic reply given by the manager standing at reception We paid a total of 4200 Rs for two rooms for one night and suffered whole night due to light issue and staff at morning instead of saying sorry behaving as nothing happened , they have no regrets that the guest suffered all night. Pathetic hotel pine view shimla and their manager is also pathetic, I request people to avoid this hotel so that your trip doesn't get spoiled .Pine view shimla manager doesn't care about guests coming in hotel
