The Place to Stay in Termini ImereseThere were not many hotel choices for Termini Imerese. Hotel Piccolo turned out to be a wonderful experience. Enzo, the host, and his partner, Aurora, were very welcoming and helpful. Even though their English was limited and our Italian was limited, we were still able to communicate. The facilities are updated and well maintained. Our room was spacious and clean. But Enzo and Aurora made this hotel a real plus. Enzo takes real pride in his facility and service and made us feel at home. We felt like friends and he generously gave us some homemade, bottled foods upon our departure. He is a great cook. We will definitely return and we highly recommend it.

Nocternal Discovery ... and, worth the effort. My wife and I ground a 6-on-the-floor Alfa Romeo around for 3 days, having spent the day and evening in Enna, did not wish to take on Palermo after dark. Arriving in Termini Imerese, noted brand new signage for Hotel Piccolo. After winding down, down, down to the water front found only one ancient street sign. Discovered a parking spot & inquired (I don't usually) of locals. Both pointed to an alley, Via Ciaula - no illumination save for 2 carriage lamps ~ 100 meters in. Braved up and walked. The lights were for the hotel and the only single clue was the name on the cocoa door mat. "Hotel Piccolo". Knocked and waited. Lovely woman opened and smiled. We dovetailed our language skills and earned a large queen room on the just-above the first floor. The owner-chef understood our hunger and enjoying the solitude of the only persons in his restaurant (... other diners departed) bent over backwards for us. As Americans he naturally (ital.) offered spegetti. We waived that off and ventured further. Minestroni, better but with his personal baptism of our individual bowls with EVOO...and 3 glasses of non-label red..a remarkable 2 hours. Waitress doubled as the chamber maid. Conservation of resources. High raw wood beamed ceilings in room. Noteworthy was the inability to contain the shower spray, thus every fixture in the bath got soaked. Conservation of resources-not in this room. However dull and predictable breakfast was, the bright color schemes throughout, punctuated by fresh flowers, a marble bust -that had to be the owner's wife - made the night's stay a high on my recommend list. ~$65 Euros. + dinner. Rooms used only "Skeleton" keys ... probably changes by now. Tip: Central to a great half-day of walk-shop. But, sadly the further you wander, the better the chances of coming back to the 21st Century.

Dont bother!!!Termini Imprese itself, while looking OK in google photos, is a complete crap hole! Was completely empty, and the only people we did encounter simply stared at us and made us feel so uncomfortable that we made sure to be back at the hotel before dark! The hotel itself is very unimpressive, none of the staff can speak A WORD of English (and dont even try) and in fact came to our room every time we asked a question to show us how to do things! The free WiFi only worked OUTSIDE our room so we ended up on the stairs everytime we wanted internet the TV was small, AC was absolutely useless and the shower was very low pressure! Breakfast was continental (as always is in Italy) but VERY minimal and boring. Definitly not worth the EUR80 we spent for the night!!

Charming little hotelWe spent only one night here, but I can recommend it. We booked a triple, and the room was quite spacious. There were two single beds and one queen bed. The owner Aurora (?) spoke no English, and we spoke no Italian, but we managed. The room was clean. The bathroom was a good size, but we could not figure out how to turn on the bathroom light. Pros: clean room, good location, large room. Cons:The door to the bathroom didn't close properly. The breakfast was spare, and was not homemade We had a nice stay.

disappointingbooked this hotel months in advance... after arriving in Teremini we drove around the town for over an hour looking for the hotel....rang the buzzer multiple times and no one answered...so we walked around for an hour and came back....finally someone answered the door to get into the front desk....stated we did not have a reservation...I had a copy on my phone and showed it to the receptionist...they had rooms available but not at the same price as our reservation.....we left
