In a beautiful place but only average

Spent four nights here as part of a large group of a tour. We were a party of 34 with varied mobility and age range but all greater than 40yrs old. The hotel is quaint and bijou....a polite way of saying small? Our room was on fourth floor in eaves of hotel. It was a large room with what appeared to be for a family. (I was there as a couple). There is a lift to 3rd floor and then stairs to 4th. The facilities were spotlessly clean though the bathroom was tiny. The shower door could only open partially as it was next to the loo which made it tricky as my hubby is a big guy at 6ft 4". We had exceptionally hot weather throughout our stay and there is no air con or fans. This was particularly problematic in the dining area. Our party were seated all together though it was again small and had to negotiate our buffet style meals as a bit of a scrum. The staff were pleasant, particularly our young waiter who was friendly and helpful. He was very hardworking. The food was acceptable and the night we were served at tables instead of buffet was easier rather than negotiating tiny areas of buffet. Thoroughly enjoyed our Tyrolean entertainment from a guitarist and accordion player, our group kept them going! If I were travelling independently I think other accommodation in area is better but it was good to average on this occasion .

    Average

Not a hotel we would stay a otber tima. Room average with no view and a very small balcony, a couchbed for our daughter what lies so terribly that you wish for a yogamat on the floor to sleep on, personnel friendly but the receptionist is quite distant and seems irritated quickly when you ask something. Wifi on the rooms for free doesn't work at all. Sauna ok, only paying cash in the hotel is out of time. We would not come back here.

    Horrible experience.

I recently had the unfortunate pleasure of staying in this hotel. I URGENTLY ADVISE ALL PEOPLE TO AVOID THIS establishment FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONs:. 1. Food was inedible and overpriced, when we mentioned this to the waiter, he just shrugged his shoulders and left. It was basically incredible amounts of salt to overpower the mediocre food. 2. No shampoo or body wash included. When we asked, we were simply told. Why don't you buy it in the supermarket? We asked again and out of the 3 rooms booked, we only got a few samples. 3. No handwashing soap, after asking multiple times, 1 room got soap, in a glass. WTF? 4. The staff overall were extremely uncaring. 5. The pillows were basically flat. Wow, even for 3 stars, this was low. 6. The jacuzzi was lukewarm. Lukewarm when it is minus outside?! Thank god it was indoors. 7. The bill was over a 1000 euros and he would only accept cash?! Who the hell carries a 1000 euros in cash. To justify this he made RACIST comments against, Czechs, polish and Russians. Assuming all of these people are bad, including us. 8. When challenged, he got aggressive and threatened and told us "this is my hotel, I can do as I please" I URGE PEOPLE NOT TO GO TO THIS HOTEL. The owner is cheap and doesn't care, he just wants to save money and is happy with the flow of tourists who have no choice but abide by his rules.

They don't bother to answer mails

We were staying in this hotel for 10 years ago and then we liked it. It was a special place for us and we wanted to come back but faced unpleasant "welcoming". On the way to Austria we sent a question to hotel if we can stay two nights with them and didn't get any answer. Day after we've sent a mail again referring to the previous - no answer again. We actually made a d-tour and came there with family. On our question a guy on receiption said "I saw your emails. We don't have a room for you." Not even a sorry. It seems like they don't bother about the customers.

    Not recommended!

Awful awful staff. Breakfast is exactly the same in 10 days. Arrogant and very rude staff. I highly recommend to avoid this place! We felt very unwelcommed here after they have tried 2 times on arrival to cheat and give us a much smaller room than what we have paid for.
