  The Right Place in Ishigaki

  Stayed at Patina for 4 nights, and would definitely love to return! The hotel is only around 30-min ride from Ishigaki Airport, and around 10-min walk to the souvenir street. Parking is available free of charge, with limited spaces. Please be prepared to leave your car key with the reception. Room is very clean and well-equipped. 2 big comfortable beds, must be more than standard twin size. Standard Japanese style bathroom, along with a very pretty set of personal care amenities. Balcony is available for hanging clothes to dry. Breakfast is included which is available from 7am on the first floor. A small but delicious buffet with different choices each day. Next to the breakfast area, tea and coffee area is free to use. Very lovely! You may mix your own tea as you like and take the teapot back to room to enjoy. Laundry is also free and available on the first floor, though we didn't try it out this time. One more interesting point of Patina: you get to choose what not to be serviced e.g. bath towels, then you get certain points, which can be used to redeem some souvenirs at the end of your stay! That is really a nice idea! Thank you all the helpful staff! Highly recommend to all!

  Superb

  Great location - far enough way from the tourist strip in the town but within easy walking distance. A 20 minute walk from some good supermarkets and even less if you use the free cycles. The hotel parking is well organised but do hire a small car. Even if there are no spaces (we did not experience this) there is plenty of free parking nearby. Very good breakfast, wonderful free flow teas (blend yourself) and coffee, lovely staff and a comfortable, relatively spacious room. Excellent free laundry. The bed is a little small but it does free up room space. Their use of nudge economics has to be experienced- got us several local beers.

  Nice hotel with novelty

  We were here for two nights. The room is quite simple and very well-kept: toilet, toiletries, utilities, bed, desk, kettle, and television (with basic channel selection only) - but the novelty is the reception area, which has an exciting mix-and-match tea assortment, coffee machine, and a few other beverages on offer. Breakfast buffet is both simple and excellent. For requesting no need to change sheets/towels, you get 'points' which can be exchanged for nice little souvenirs - we managed to get a nice box of cookies at the end. Free laundry but you need to pay to use the dryer. WiFi is fine. The staff are friendly and professional. It takes just 5-10 minutes to walk to the more 'happening' parts with the pier, restaurants and shops. The pricing is fair. Overall it is good and would thoroughly recommend it for a short stay!

  Great breakfast

  Rooms and bed on the small side. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and location was just a hop away from the town center. Staff speaks some english and are all very nice and accommodating. Booked a tour through them as well. I highly recommend.

  Peaceful, enviromentally conscious place to stay in Ishigaki

  We stayed here as a couple in January 2020. Our room was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. We liked the location close to the port and across the road from a very nice French Bakery. We were given the choice as to how much cleaning and changing of linen we felt was needed during our stay. If we chose not to have some the services (which we did) we could earn points to 'spend' in the hotel on our departure. We liked this environmentally conscious option. The staff were all polite, friendly and very helpful. A variety of hot drinks were available from the reception, including a wide range of herbal teas (no fees required). A wide range of foods were available at breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would comfortably come here again.
