  Perfect location, perfect staff!

  My bestie and I came for a girls weekend and so happy we came to the Hotel Paseo! You could not ask for a better location for convenient shopping and dining! The hotel is clean, beautiful, and hip, but the staff really made our stay! We loved the airstream and manager Joe was so accommodating of giving us a tour and answering questions. Neil at the pool bar is perhaps the most attentive bartender ever!! He makes a great drink but also went above and beyond to make our stay extra special...down to having fresh berry cups ready for us after our Sunday morning yoga session. The perfectly warm Palm Springs evenings were great for sitting by the many fire pits enjoying a drink. The open air yoga class was also great! We will definitely be back!

  What a Great, Safe, Get Away

  Hubby and I celebrated our anniversary by getting out of town (for the first time since March) and spending the weekend at Hotel Paseo. I was a little nervous about staying at a hotel and being out at restaurants during Covid. My nervousness was unfounded, and we had a wonderful weekend away. The hotel was super clean, ALL the staff wore masks, there was no daily maid service; so no one coming in or out of the room except us. They took lots of precautions including clean, sealed TV remotes, asking guests to not share elevator rides, and even cleaning things like the ping-pong paddles and putters between guests. There was plenty of room between lounges at the pool and the lobby's furniture was appropriately spaced. All of that made me feel safe. The hotel is a favorite of ours, and I'd missed it. The cool red Cadillac and beautiful Airstream set the vibe for a fun stay. Shout out to Neil for keeping my drinks by the pool coming. Love the hotel bikes too, we had fun cruising the area! The hotel is also right next to El Paseo shopping and I spent a day just enjoying wandering the stores, something I had not done in a long time. I also appreciated that the stores limited number of shoppers, and requested masks when in the store. I had so much fun that I am thinking this might be a great place to come mid-week with the kids, as distance learning can be done from any location, haha!

  All I can say is WOW!!!

  We made a last minute trip to Palm Desert. We chose Hotel Paseo because it is a smaller hotel outside of Palm Springs. It also had great reviews, especially during Covid. We were pleasantly surprised. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating from the valet, front desk and Cafe Paseo staff. They really did a great job sanitizing. We reserved chairs by the pool and they were cleaned between guests. Neil at the Cafe Paseo took very good care of all our snack and drink needs. We had the pleasure of also meeting Joe the General Manager. He was right out there with the staff sanitizing chairs with his team. Everyone had a lot of pride and went above and beyond the entire time we were there. The location was also a hidden gem with amazing shops and top restaurants within walking distance or a shuttle. I highly recommend this hotel. We will be back!!!

  The virus is no excuse

  A rather pathetic showing. The hotel tries to project a hip vibe, but being hip is no excuse for too many cut corners. I was registered for a driving program...which they knew and knew that I would be gone all day doing it. The room was not made up. The hotel insisted that one had to "reserve" a time to have the room cleaned, bed made and new towels brought. Huh? They knew that they had all day to do the service. Then there was the lobby cafe. The coffee was adequate. However, the breakfast sandwich was pathetic... must have been made days ago and was not brought back to life when heated. Complying with the health rules doesn't mean these kinds of quality compromises.

  weekend getaway

  This place is fun and unique and the location cant be beat! We enjoyed the quirky vintage theme and the beds were very comfortable. We visited during Covid so things werent ideal as far as amenities go. As this is a small boutique hotel, it becomes all the more challenging for them to be able to offer everything to everyone, I dont think that the spa was open and the fitness center was closed to us and pool reservations tricky to come by during daylight hours on a holiday weekend. Truth be told there was very little for us by way of amenities and the rules around using those they had or even getting towels , tv remote, or room refresh were over the top, but they were certainly being safe and they went out of their way to accommodate and please customers. I would certainly trust them to keep you safe and return outside of a holiday weekend and /or Covid. Theres so much to see and do in the area and the outdoor and lobby games and fun theme will really shine when things lighten up. Id return in a heartbeat to this fun staff.
