  Poor food

  Staff indifferent. Rooms clean and small; OK for a couple of nights, but no more. Meal times were regimented; timed exactly with no flexibility and the evening meals were poor. WiFi could only be accessed in the reception area. There was a general shortage of pillows in the hotel. No lifts. Perhaps a hotel aimed more at parties of youngsters and coach parties. 20 - 30 minutes out of Calvi.

  Good points, bad points

  As mentionned elsewhere, this is a busy hotel with groups and weddings. It is still quiet especially if you get a room away from the pool where the animation team works a bit too hard. The rooms are small but comfortable with air conditioning and a small balcony. Careful no elevators so if you have heavy luggage beware !, The pool and its area were very nice. Friendly staff. The distance to the beach is about 400 meters if you cut between the two campings.

  Great activities planning

  Great activities planning. Good rooms and well ubicated. The team make you feel confortable, good breakfast. Maybe is a gap the hotel doesn't have elevator. Too much Wind in the corredor but the rooms are ok.

  Wonderful week! Great place, clean & great food!

  After searching an entire day for the perfect location, the miracle happened. Hotel Pascal Paoli was home away from home, but on vacation. The personnel is extremely nice and accommodating. Rooms are kind of cozy but extremely clean which makes it an extra plus! Towels we changed daily, and sheets every two days about. The bunkbeds that we had were actual beds and not just a temporary accommodation. So they were very comfortable.We didn't book ahead of time, but we found a room for a small family of four with no problem. Very nice pool and food and bar at that location. We paid for evening dining included in the price of the room and we're very happy about it. Nice buffet for entrées, and a choice of different selections between fish and meats every evening. Very nice selection for the kids as well, where the ate something different every night. Evening entertainment was a plus. Breakfast was a great selection of all buffet warm and cold, cereals fruits and juices. They were also local biscuits. Altogether the hotel was just wonderful. We couldn't have expected a better location for our stay, I will definitely be going back. It's at a perfect distance between Ile-rousse & Calvi. Although we did go to the beach by car for personal preference, the beach is a short walk from the hotel.

  Worst customer service experience ever

  I booked a room for one week beginning of July. Back then, the map showed the hotel to be located in the centre of l'Ile Rousse, which is where I had planned to spend my holiday. A few days after booking, I realized the hotel was in fact in Algajola, and I contacted them to cancel my reservation, let them know about the error displayed on TripAdvisor (which they have now changed). I was confronted to utter disrespect and stupidity. I was charged £40 of cancellation fee, when the reason why I cancelled was their own mistake, and couldn't get the £35 I paid for insurance back. After numerous unsuccessful phone calls and emails, I finally got to speak to the director of the hotel, who immediately raised his voice at me, and threatened to hang up on me. He pretended they were not responsible for their presence on tripadvisor (which tripadvisor refuted in a following call to them). He was most unprofessional, disrespectful, and plain odious. After this, I had to chase them every couple of days as they still took almost a month to reimburse me the rest of my reservation, ending up in a cheque (on which I lose money - again). I strongly discourage anyone to book their stay there.
