  Excelente relación calidad-precio

  Amable, eficiente, bien situado y limpio. Wi-fi gratis, parada de metro muy cerca, muy buenos restaurantes cerca. En conclusión excelente relación calidad-precio en un hotel situado en la verdadera Paris no turística.

  Todo correcto.

  El personal es muy atento y amable. Bastante más limpio de lo esperado, tanto es así que al subir a la habitación todavía había un señor limpiando la habitación, cosa que resultó bastante graciosa y anecdótica (porque mientras dejábamos nuestras cosas y nos sentábamos en la cama él seguía ahí limpiando jaja). La habitación y el baño son amplios y están bien equipados, ningún susto. Muy bien situado, justo en un barrio no turístico pero al lado del cementerio y de la parada una parada de metro.

  THERE IS NO AIRCON

  We booked to stay in this hotel for 2 nights during the heatwave, having spent 14 hours travelling we were exhausted and roasting in the 28 degree (Celsius) heat. We were welcomed with a nice, cool, air conditioned reception and given the key to our room. Unfortunately, upon opening the door, we discovered that our room was roughly the temperature of the sun. As a very fair skinned person, I dont deal very well with heat and despite trying our best to cool down with cold showers, cold cloths and sitting on the wooden floor; we were having no luck. As I was starting to feel sick my partner went back down to reception to ask for a fan or a room change (in the hope that another one might have aircon) but we were turned down for both. Eventually we ended up going back out into the heat as it was genuinely cooler outside than it was in our room. The following day, Paris reached 36 degrees in the evening which meant that we ended up having to purchase a fan from Leroy Merlin to plug in in our room and keeping the door to the hall open in the vain attempt to create a breeze of some kind. Do not stay here during intense heat, its not safe and the hotel will do nothing to try and make you more comfortable. I would recommend staying at the Ibis Hotel at Bercy Seine, its much nicer, the staff are friendly and it has aircon!

  Really nice place!

  I stayed in Hotel Paris Gambetta in the mid October. I definitely recommend this place if you plan to visit Paris! Let me point out some of the pros: Location: Even thought, hotel is placed far from the "city center" the location is great. There is a metro station Gambetta near by so it's easy to go everywhere. Also, there is McDonald (if you need morning coffee), Franrpix market where you can buy almost everything and Pere Lachaise cementery. Rooms: I stayed in the room on the 2nd floor. You can take a lift there or staircase (which looks excatly like on french movies - I love it). The room was spacious, so as bathroom. It was cleaned everyday and towels were changed. We have a view on the street. It would be nice if there was a kettle in the room (as it was in a hotel that I stayed earlier) but unfortunately it wasn't. The wifi connection was great. Hotel staff: I have a pleasure to meet two men at the reception desk and they were extremely nice and helpful. And it's true that people in Paris do not like speak english, but those two men spoke perfect english. Also, I like the idea of leaving the key in the reception desk while we were exploring Paris. I didn't have to worry that I will lose. Next time in Paris, I will definitely choose Hotel Paris Gambetta.

  Paris old style

  We had a pleasant four days in this simple hotel while visiting friends in the Gambetta district. Friendly staff, English speaking. Lots of cafés, bars, bistros and restaurants within walking distance.
