  Nice Hotel

  The hotel is well located in the modern part of Fes in a really secure place, there is a big mall with Carrefour near by, but the Medina is quite far you need a taxi to get there, if you are travel as a tourist I would rather recomment a hotel near the Medina. The bedroom as spacious and clean and the breakfast is ok.

  OK Hotel

  Stayed here as part of a small group tour. The hotel room was spacious and modern, but the WiFi didn't work and the shower was always cold for our room. Furthermore, it is forbidden to do your laundry here as you're supposed to pay the front desk to do it, but they charge very expensive rates for laundry. I would recommend taking the laundry elsewhere. Otherwise, breakfast, service, location, they were all good.

  Decent mid-range rooms close to cafes and shops

  We stayed here two nights during our Intrepid tour, and were quite comfortable in our clean and spacious room with adjacent lounge area. (My only room photo was a panorama, which I cant seem to upload here). There are no lifts, so consider this if you dont want to lug your bags up steps. Wifi was adequate and breakfast was fine. Although our room faced the street, there was not much noise, other than calls to prayer. Lots of places to eat and little shops nearby, so a handy place to stay.

  Unique bathroom

  I can't remember ever seeing a bathroom where the toilet had to be on an angle to fit it in...until we came here. Neither have I had to turn sideways to get from the shower out of the bathroom as the space between the sink and the wall was about 9" (OK maybe slight exaggeration). Pretty clean bedrooms, even though small. TV didn't work at all, ie couldn't get any channels for more than a second before they went fuzzy. No lift/elevator and of course I was on the upper floor, so that was a pain. Breakfast was the only one on our tour which was not a buffet so you had what was on the table, ie limited choice. Area around the hotel was a bit 'rough' but we didn't feel unsafe and there was a Carrefour about 10 mins walk away, so we could buy drinks at good prices.....but no fridge in the room.

  What a joke

  Seriously this hotel was the worst we have stayed in. We were in a tour group so all booked by them. First thing I noticed in the lobby was a sign, no washing of clothes in your room. This was the first time on the tour that we had 2 nights in the same place so all thought a great chances to do some laundry. They did have a service thought that cost us close to $40 Australian. We had 15 items including socks and jocks. Some in the group lost all their socks. The bed linen didnt fit the bed the duvet was to short and toes froze on the first night, socks to bed second night. Hot water didnt exist of a night time both nights the same. Wifi didnt work on our second day. When I went to the desk downstairs I was told it was my phone. I said interesting as my wifes phone wasnt working. It didnt matter room or lobby. No one in the group had wifi so when I came back down later I see the same guy and he is in denial about hot water and wifi. I again fronted him and in front of 12 people he said it was not his problem and walked out. I dont care how cheap or expensive it was this hotel was terrible. No wifi, no hot water, not being able to wash your clothes in room and a manager who doesnt accept responsibility of his hotels short falls. I gave it a rating of 1 because I had to give it a score.
