  Super Hotel for families.

  Despite we booked just one day before our arrival, on the busiest holiday week of the year in Italy (middle of August 2017) all the staff at Nord Est were kind and ready to listen to our needs. I think these personnel's way of do things is the real added value. We are a family of 4 with 2 under-teen "monsters" and having literally everything next to the Hotel doors was priceless. Surely we will recommend the hotel to our relatives and friends for a comfortable stay in the very center of Cattolica!!!

  A wonderful stay

  We had 6 nights at Nord est the first week of july 2018. We had a wonderfull room with a see view. The food is extrodinary good. We tasted lot of different courses. The only negative is that i had to eat the left overs when my daughters didn't finish all their food because of the big portions, and I thougt the food was so good that I had to finish it. The beach is a wonderful sandy beach, thats perfect for children.

  World Ducati Week 2018

  Hotel is good, staff is perfect. We came on our motorbikes for the World Ducati Week, parking is indoor, breakfast and dinner is in price quality level very good, nice variety too. Rooms are OK and clean, hotel is located at perfect location in Cattolica at the beach.

  Great place to unwind - alone, family, family with kids

  My parents return to this place annually and take the all-inclusive package. All meals and beach place and towels included. I join them sometimes for a weekend. Therefore can compare from year to year. It is no issue if I use the sunbeds on the beach with my parents for the weekend I stay. Bagno who is chosen is clean and standard space available around the umbrellas. Food is very good, particularly the pasta - al dente. Breakfast is buffet style with a big choice of dishes. It can be eaten in the dinning room or outdoor on a terrace. They are as well constantly replenished, respectively new choices added. Lunch and dinner are done with menu choice. Which consists of Italian style 1st course, 2nd course and dessert. 3 choices for the 1st and 2nd course. Almost unlimited choice of desserts. Which can be tailor made among the choices if there is availability. For children but as well for adults the option is available to order simple dishes outside the menu, should the need arise. There is as well a starter buffet, to kick of the meal. They re-use some food that can be re-used to avoid food waste. Which I appreciate. Some of the waitresses and waiters have been working there for years and they are all very quick, efficient and remember the standard drink choices. Kids are always treated special. The hotel offers a child entertainment option with a lady taking care of them. Further there is an indoor pool and a whirlpool. Rooms have the standard size for beach hotels in the Romagna. Not too big but perfectly fine and all have a balcony. Rooms are clean and cleaning staff is very friendly and helpful, should one require additional blankets etc. Interior is not the newest but well kept. Reception staff is very friendly and helpful. Further there are very patient with people like me in this case. As I pre-ordered a shuttle transfer from the airport to the hotel and back. Further asked for a partial pre-debit of my credit card and then later for a full debit of my credit card. Further having the taxes and drink expenses paid separately in cash. All done without any issues. Really appreciate the service. Staff speaks multiple languages. Further they provide you with suggestions what to do else in the area. If one is tired of lying on the beach and eating the good food. If you need a mini-bar and luxurious room, then you would rate the hotel with 4 on the tripadvisor scale from 1 to 5. If not, you will rate this hotel with a 5. That is what I do. To sum it up. Perfect (beach) place to unwind, relax and spend quality time with family, friends or alone. It seemed as well that at least half of the guests are returning guest as well.

  Great, but needs some work

  Ive been to this hotel a few times now, and I can see things starting to slip... The location and breakfast are great as they always have been. The rooms however, are also the same as they always have been, meaning they arent being looked after as well as they could. This visit, I strangely had the exact same room as last year, and the exact same issues were still there - A smashed and chipped glass shelves in the bathroom, as well as the extractor fan still not working. The drying line broken outside and lack of chairs on the balcony - everyone else had both a working line and 2 chairs... sadly not for us. I have a feeling the hotel has either been sold or rented out to new people as I didnt recognise any of the office staff as per usual, nor could they speak fluent English as previous years. If this is the case, I hope they dont let things slip too far, this is a great hotel to stay in!
