  Very comfortable hotel

  Stayed here for two nights in July and was thoroughly impressed. Slight mix-up with our booking but we were given the correct room on the ground floor with a patio on the second night. Both rooms were great - very comfortable beds and excellent large bathrooms. The bar/restaurant is also very nice with decent choice of vegetarian options.

  Be careful of you belongings in this hotel

  The hotel itself is ok, nice room, clean, and large. However, I had a very strange and frustrating incident at this hotel. I stayed at the Nijver for two nights before going to Amsterdam. In the rush to catch the train I accidentally left two dresses hanging in the closest. When I realised that I left the dresses I was already on the train towards Amsterdam. However, just over an hour had passed since I checked out, so I called the hotel to ask them to get the dresses and store them, as I was returning the following weekend to stay for one more night at the hotel. They said they would do this and with that I was relieved. When I returned the following week I was told that they couldn't find the dresses. It seems that when they checked the room after I called no dresses were found. Moreover, the lady I was dealing with tried to turn the story around, saying that I never left any dresses and that I must have them, as if I was making the story up! No apologies, nothing. I have never experienced anything like this. So, I warning to future guest, DON'T LEAVE ANYTHING as you will never see it again!

  Nice cozy rooms

  We booked an executive double room for a night. Rooms were clean and comforting. We also had a big bath and shower which was really nice. The staff is also very friendly and helpful. One disappointment was the noise. We came in friday night so I guess people were partying outside. Other than that, I would totally recommend! :)

  Pesimo trato

  La cocinera ( o personal de cocina) nos dijo que no nos podiamos quedar con muy malos modos y mala cara, faltaba mas de media hora para cerrar. Eramos un grupo de 4 personas. El camarero nos pidio disculpas

  Cozy restaurant, well located in the center of Geldrop

  The hotel is industrial decorated with a twist to local industries (Peijnenburg and the former weaving mills). The room was nice and I wonder what the difference is with a standard room after we booked an executive room. Although there was hardly occupancy, they gave us the room directly next to the hallway door. The shower was very small with no cupboard or anything else to store your bathroom equipment. It was ok for our 1-night stay but nothing special.
