  Average hotel for short stay

  Stayed at this hotel recently on business trip to Japan. The hotel is located very near to station & is easy to travel to Kyoto or Osaka. The rooms are very compact but having all necessary facilites. The internet works excellently in the rooms. The buffet breakfast is having spread from Japanese & Continental cusine. For dinner, hotel provided with set menu of special Japanese cusine, but on request arranged chicken for me both days, which was not on menu. As like all other Japan hotels (atleast I stayed), no complimentary drinking water is provided. The water in room fridge is costly, so recommanded to purchase from family mart down the line. Staff very nice & ready to help. Overall good hotel if need to stay away from Osaka or Kyoto for business/work.

  Beautiful place, hotel, facility

  Shiga is Beautiful location and good weather and it have AEON department store. !! very good location !! The hotel have all convenient and facility . The price was not expensive and also breakfast include. We get some souvenir

  Great Hotel. Great food.

  Courteous and efficient late-night check-in with good level of English. Spacious, tasteful and functional room in line with provincial Japan hotel expectations. A bit noisy on the lower floor and still using a real retro room key but I understand this hotel is under renovation, no bothering noise though. Good basic breakfast, good location. The top floor restaurant has stunning views and really good food. I normally avoid hotel restaurants but this restaurant is excellent and the chef takes great pride and is friendly. Ill stay there again soon.

  Short stay in a nice place to stay ;)

  We`ve been to Omihachiman City, Shiga, for 2 days only, and we enjoy to stay in this Hotel. Great location, nice Breakfast situated on the last floor of the Hotel, with a beautiful view. About the breakfast, some food was not high quality, and some bacon first day and some ham second day was rotten, very bad, (be careful) for the rest was very tasty. Nice surprise finds a foreign staff, he was Italian and with great skill in English and service. We tried the teppanyaki restaurant, very tasty but the staff was too rush and we didn`t enjoy own time during lunch. Was a very clean room and a nice size with comfortable bed and nice shower bath. Happy to back.

  They charge me extra when I check it

  What a shame to the hotel. They did not metion that the room is non-smoking, when I asked for a non-smoking room, they charge me 1000yen extra. I stayed for 2 nights, it's halarious I need to change my room, if I want to stay in the same room, I need to pay 500yen extra. I used the booking app to send them message for many times but they never reply. I did all my best to communicate before my arrival. Stubborn front desk manager wanted my 500yen and he did not know that he's going to have a negative feedback. I will never return to this hotel, I will pick the one next to it.
