  Close to the beach

  We had a.very good sized room overlooking the sea for one night.It was comfortable and the breakfast and coffee were good it seemed a handy location for town and beach. There was a rainstorm as we returned to the hotel and the road and gutters were quickly flooded so getting back to the hotel involved wading. Staff were friendly and it was a good stopover.

  yep, good choice. perfect location

  Nice hotel at a very competitive price. Close to the beach, beautiful view from the balcony of my room ( sea view). good breakfast and very nice staff. free parking and good WiFi. The bathroom was quite small, but acceptable

  A nice hotel for a short holiday stay

  Nice hotel with a very good location - the sea and beach just across the street. A few steps from a promenade, a lot of shops and restaurants in the nearest vicinity. Rooms are clean and quite well equipped (bathroom as well). The staff is very nice and helpful, treating all the guests very friendly. There's a lift you can use to get to higher floors and own parking lot (very small but you can park your car for free). Very tasty and varied breakfasts. View from the windows and a balcony in rooms located in a rear part of the hotel could be at least a little bit better... TV was not working properly but as we stayed only one night it was not a big deal.

  Very clean hotel. Spacious room with a balcony. Excellent sleep quality. Good breakfast, with quality products and attentive friendly staff, as excellent as the reception staff. Excellent location.. I suggest the guests leave car keys at the reception, 'cause parking is really small and it's important to avoid unpleasant waiting...

  Disappointing return

  We were here 6 years ago when the hotel was relatively new and we really enjoyed that stay. Sadly the hotel is now looking very tired and worn and there doesn't appear to have been an awful lot of maintenance done in that time. Decor throughout the hotel (rooms, corridors, breakfast room) is grubby and worn and there are areas that are flaking and patched up. Our room had a smell of smoke and the bathroom, although pleasantly appointed, had black mould along the edges of the shower tray. Our balcony door had a broken pane of glass and badly tarnished ironmongery and the balcony had a service riser which was rusting and badly damaged with the cover hanging off to reveal the internal pipework. The breakfast room looks to suffer from water ingress along the glazed facade which has caused staining and excessive mastic to be applied. Finally, the details on the booking site we used advertised a private beach area which is incorrect. 6 years ago they did have an arrangement with a hotel opposite for guests to use that beach area but we were advised at reception that this is no longer the case. On the plus side, the location is very good, opposite Durres beach very close to the main promenade with cafes and restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to the town centre. Our room and bathroom was clean with a lovely large and comfortable bed. We had a suite with a large balcony facing the sea. The hotel is very quiet and staff are friendly and obliging. Breakfast is reasonable with choice of fresh fruit, juices, fried eggs and sausages, cheeses and cold meats, cereals, breads, cakes & pastries.
