Smell problemI chose this hotel based on the TripAdvisor reviews, but I am afraid, the reviews were far from realities. Our first allocated room was smell of smoking and just next to the air conditioning engines bay. After complained, we been allocated another room which was no smoking smell but, during the night, there was cooking smell coming from somewhere which was disturbing our sleep. Also, there was some hair in a bathroom when I checked the whole room. Although, After I complained about it, they have cleaned the bathroom, I felt very uncomfortable and suspect their hygiene practice. A room was very small for twin and there was no spaces for to open aluggage, ceiling light and corridor light were operated by one switch, which was not practical system. There was also no bed lights. Some reviewer mentioned the hotel was renovated, but a room was only redecorated and a unit bathroom was shabby old, didn't renovated. Breakfast was average. Only positive points were relatively good staff and choice of small packed bathroom amenities which were very hygienically good. Our stay was weekend and we have paid relatively a good money for one night, but this hotel was too far from a value of money.

Good location, comfortable stayEasy short walk from airport bus stop and close to tram stops, lots of shops, restaurants and arcades. Small room but quiet, clean and comfortable, with in room safe (after 6 weeks travel in Japan we found this wasnt always the case). If you arrive before 3pm check-in they will store your luggage. Reception staff were helpful and a number spoke really good English. Breakfast is very much Japanese focused. Easy to find places for breakfast near the hotel on the main road. If you sign up online you get discounts off your booking. We had the amazing sushi at a local sushi bar, the best and cheapest of our trip. Cant remember the name but turn right out of the hotel and left towards the arcade and its on the right hand side a couple of blocks along with plastic strips hanging in front of the doorway. We took the ferry to Sakurajima. The footbath path was great. Also, a must is a trip to Ibusiki to the sand spa. Best thing we did. Easy to get to the station from the hotel and a local train ride and bus or walk away.

Very Nice. The reception is beautiful. The staff is very kind. Liked the room, not so spacious but okay. The entire hotel seemed clean. A little minus that only one of the three Washing maschines worked, so we spent some time waiting.

average roomstayed there for 3 nights.. to be fair, its a great value for money, but you paid what you get. the first impression is very nice reception. but the room is just fair. room could be double check before check in. there is still a hair on bed, dust on bed wall, a tiny plastic rubbish on floor. its still acceptable so did not request a room change, instead, a room make up is shown on next day morning. Everything is back to standard on the 2nd day. in generally, the room is small but well equipped. the best is to offer use port close to bed and charing line with different types of input. a clothing hanging line can be found inside washroom.

Very averageStayed here two nightsnothing special, which seems to be the case in hotels in Kagoshima. In a span of a week I stayed at three different hotels, while mystays was not the worst one, It certainly did not stand out either. Rooms are a decent size. The bidet was exceptionally loud to warm up, which means every time you use it you have to jump at its loud growl. Unlike 90% of hotels I stayed at in Asia, this one did not have complimentary water. Location is fine, there are many hotels in the area. I asked if I could check out 30 mins later since their lunch restaurant didnt open till 11:30, was told Id have to pay. Its faulty thinking that the rules cannot be bent when just 30 minutes would mean a happy customer that would stay again and have lunch in your facility anyway. With all the options available, will not come back to this chain.
