  great place for a weekend trip to the Ardennes

  I used the hotel as my homebase during a weekend motorbike trip in the Ardennes. Centrally located you easily reach Luxemburg (good roads, cheap fuel) or Germany or you stay in Belgium (the formula-1-circuit of Spa-Francorchamps is closeby). No problem to park my bike just in front of teh hotel. The rooms are spacious, well appointed and seem to be recently renovated. Comfortable beds. All you need. Restaurant and bar, big variety on the menu and the delcious local Vieile Salme beer. Friendly, relaxed service. Just a good place to chill. Loved it.

  A good hotel in an interesting small town

  A very sensible place for a one-night stay. We stayed there en route from the Black Forest to England via Dover. The proprietor was particularly helpful in recommending a restaurant as his hotel restaurant was closed on the day of the week we were there and we found a very good restaurant about 100 metres away in a the cellar of a castle.

  Clean but average

  So the good side: location: close to everything, easy to find; restaurant and a bar within; quiet; clean But the down side: room smelled a bit (with balcony open the smell went away); no window (only balcony) so when you wanted to air the room, you had to do it properly; unsatisfactory breakfast (if you come in the second hour of the breakfast time, you get way less choice, which even at the beginning is not big) All in all, not bad, not the best either.

  Nice get away

  Very clean and nice hotel. There is a private sauna available upon reservation. Very speacues rooms whit bathtub and separate toilet. Located in the century off the town. Nice restaurant whit great service.

  Last minute booking in the pouring rain!

  We were looking for somewhere last minute as the weather was shocking and riding on motorbikes in the dark wasn't much fun! We effortlessly booked a room and parked up securely before finding that for some reason the lift wasn't working! Our room was modern and spacious with a comfy bed. We decided to eat at the restaurant that night because of the weather and weren't disappointed. We had a long wait to be served as there was only two staff working but the food was worth the wait. The food was lovely but someone needs to have a word with the guy on reception who also worked in the restaurant about personal hygiene. It spoilt the evening!
