  Wonderful weeks holiday

  Booked a last minute get away at Muses Hotel. Had a fantastic stay, rooms are basic but clean, staff are friendly and really helpful. Pool area is nice, handy pool bar for drinks and snacks that plays background music. Never struggled to get a sun bed, one day we were the only people round the pool for a couple of hours! Hotel is in a great location, easy walk to the beautiful beach and enough restaurants also within walking distance. Recommend hiring a car for a few days to get out and about, Skiathos isnt a big island but definitely worth exploring.

  Basic but OK

  Arrived to escape UK Covid, booked 10 days before travelling - the hotel is split into 4 room blocks, no lifts and even the "ground" floor has steps to the room. We had a large twin - good size room and the bathroom had recently been refurbished although there were no hooks or rails for towels. Beds were hard, you get used to it. We had an issue with ants on a few days - nothing major but worth noting. Bar are by the pool was lovely and in general everyone abided to the socially distant rules except from one Brit who decided to give me a drunken hug! Beach area is beautiful and there are a couple of cafes on the beach for drink and snacks. In Koukounaries itself you only have aprox 5 places to eat at - worth booking if you want to eat a peak time. On our leaving day the owner said they would provide us with a key to a spare room to shower etc as we were being collection early evening. The time we wanted the key reception was empty we ask at the bar who said they would get someone - we waited and waited - nothing so had to use the pool toilets - not ideal

  Wonderful stay , wonderful people .

  Rooms are basic but clean . Beds are hard but you get used to them . Hotel is in a great location . It is a small family run hotel and Maria and her family and staff could not have been more friendly and helpful . We have never felt more welcome anywhere else in the world . We are rebooting to go back in May . Suitable itself is a beautiful island . A wonderful experience . Shaun and Becky , Nottingham .

  We had a great holiday at Muses

  Our holiday at Muses was one of the best that we have ever had. The apartment was very clean and the owner and staff were very hospitable and friendly. The pool was lovely and the breakfast was good. It was about a 10 minute walk from one of the best beaches we have ever been on (Koukounaries beach).

  Isnt it time you moved this eyesore!

  Found abandoned on the lane above bus stop four. Not a very good advertisement for the hotel or the restaurant. I would hope they had more respect for their beautiful island. Looks like its been abandoned here for some time!
