  Buena ubicación

  El hotel está situado muy cerca de la estación de Matsumoto. Las habitaciones son pequeñas (pero para nada estrechas o incómodas como las de otros hoteles de negocios en Japón) y con todo lo necesario. Muy limpias y cómodas. El baño es bastante grande. Para el wifi te dan un pequeño router que hay que conectar en la habitación para garantizar la buena calidad del servicio. No tuve ningún problema con su uso y la señar era excelente. El personal muy amable y atento. Tienen servicio de alquiler de bicicletas, cafetería con desayuno y pueden guardar las maletas.

  A great budget hotel

  This hotel has a great location. It's a 3 min walk from the station (when you exit the station, you'll see a Lawson shop... take the road on the left of that shop then take the first right and the hotel is on the left hand side - do not take the big road opposite like my family and I did, because we totally got lost and took us half an hour or so to eventually find it). The hotel staff speak basic English, but they are so friendly and helpful ... they even upgraded our room without extra cost (awesome)! The Matsumoto castle is about a 15 min walk from this hotel, and there are many shops and eatery nearby also. The hotel also offers free WiFi (always a bonus) which you have to plug in yourself... they also kept our luggage for the day when we checked out.

  Good quality well located 3 star hotel

  We stayed here 1 night after doing the Tateyama-Kurobe alpine route. The hotel is well located a short 3 minute walk from train and bus station. There are Lawson's and 7/11s nearby as well as a multitude of dining and shopping options. There is a new place just opened which I can't remember the name of which has the Matsumoto brewery upstairs and you can enjoy a beer and food on the balcony - very civilised. It's an easy 15-20 minute walk to Matsumoto Castle which is very enjoyable. Great photo ops. Hotel staff were nice and helpful. Wifi worked well (always a plus when you are booking/researching on the go). Room was quiet and comfortable on the top floor. I believe there are bikes available which would be great but unfortunately we were only there the one night.

  Excelente hotel

  Este hotel es realmente muy bueno!! Ya al entrar al hotel nos encontramos con los empleados de recepción que son muy simpáticos, atentos, educados y hablan inglés. Nuestra habitación, a pesar de tener 3 camas, tenía un buen tamaño para estar cómodos y estaba muy limpia. El tamaño del baño también estaba bien y muy limpio. El desayuno, si bien no es excelente, fue bastante completo con frutas, comida caliente, pan y facturas. El hotel tiene bicicletas que pudimos usar, sin costo extra, para recorrer la ciudad. Otro punto a favor es la ubicación, está muy cerca de la estación de tren y bus. Si alguna vez vuelvo a Matsumoto, sin dudas, me vuelvo a alojar en este hotel.

  Nice Budget Hotel

  The hotel is a small budget hotel situated 2 minutes from the Matsumoto Train Station in a quiet side street. Staff are very pleasant and professional - check in and out took a few seconds each. Room is tiny, neat and clean. Comfortable bed, cant say the same about the pillow. Bright clean bathroom with the the necessary amenities. Shower and small but deep sit up tub. Limited selection at breakfast. Summary - if you are looking for a clean low priced hotel with no fancy expectations - go for the Mor Schein. Certainly worth the price.
