  Not as bad as it looks at first if you are stuck in Kudat

  This place is part of a dilapidated row of shophouses about 2 km out of town on the way in from KK. It looks really grim at first, but it was getting late so I went in anyway. My upstairs room was in fact quite good, considering my initial reaction. Spacious and clean, with a window (unlike the downstairs rooms), a comfortable bed, a good working area, good wifi, good aircon, and no noise at night as the entire town dies after dark. The bathroom was a bit rough as the shower soaked everything, and food options nearby are limited, to say the least. At RM 99, it's no bargain for what it is, but it's quite OK for one night.

  Friendly Staff

  My friend & I stay here for 1 night went we arrive at Kudat. We just walk in to the hotel, as we need a room to sleep that night & didn't book any. With RM99, we got 2 single bedroom. Our room located at ground floor. We being informed that the ground floor room is a new compared to upstairs room. I'm satisfy with the bathroom, cause it huge! However you can hear people singing & loud music as the karaoke just nearby. The staff really friendly and helpful. He help us with the direction on how to go to Tip of Borneo & advise where to eat.

  Basic,clean and tidy

  I have try to direct booking place in kudat especially near the tips of Borneo but almost all the lodges is full..me and my friend decide drive near the town of kudat and finally we found this place. The room is just basic but clean and confortable,A/c also good and the price also resonable we decide to take this room.Drive about 5 hour from sandakan make us very tired..and also this is the reason.The staff is very friendly,Anif give us many infomation about the intresting place to visit yes!!! The information is usefull especially the beach at "MISOMPURU DAZANG" super best place to visit and this is my first time to go here. Beach is clean white sand and the breeze is good..more relaxing here not touristic..but sometime in saturdy and sunday the beach will full by visitor..Highly recomended this place if you visit kudat don't miss this place. FOOD Are bit difficult to find the place to eat here..especially if you wanted for sea food!! Sidek esplanded is not many choice.we have been try the floating restaurant to order the sea food but nothing intresting!! Hock cheong restaurant is the best for the western,malay,seafood and many choice they provided,the place just beside Morning glory hotel. Will back to kudat again next time especially Dazang Beach!!

  Nice Hotel but Noisy Neighbour.

  Nice little clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff located near the Kudat town. if the next door karaoke pub is opened, you will definitely be hearing them singing from 12pm to 4am in the morning. Please proceed if you don't mind having a noisy neighbour.

  Basic hotel

  Hotel is a shoplot and located about 5 mins drive from Kudat town. Basic accommodation, room a bit musty but gets better once the airconditioning is switched on. Ask for ground floor room as they're newer compared with 1st floor rooms. Pub/ karaoke next door/ block so expect some noise at night. There's a grocery shop and 1-2 eateries nearby. Helpful staff.
