Perfect for the price and locationWe stayed in the Mont Thabor hotel for a long weekend, the staff were lovely, polite and couldn't do enough to help. The hotel itself is in a great location, opposite the old town and a couple of minutes stroll in ski boots to the nearest lift. The highlight of this hotel was the complimentary spa, with Jacuzzi, sauna and hamam, perfect after a long day on the slopes. The room was of a perfectly adequate size and absolutely spotless! We were very happy with our stay and would definitely return here again, especially at the price!!

Great small hotelStayed here for a couple of nights on a cycling holiday. Warm welcome from the desk staff. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was continental - nice but a bit limited. If you're planning to stay please be aware the reception desk is closed at 8pm with no one on duty after this.

great location, with easy access to everything you needPositives: Rooms are a decent size, and beds are comfortable. It's in a great location near ski hire, lifts and local restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. They arranged lift passes for us and didn't complain when we cancelled one just the day before. It's basic but it doesn't try to be anything else. Negatives: We only had baths in our bedrooms which for anyone over 5' 10" were tad cozy. The sauna was nice, but the staff didn't always switch it on (50/50 in terms of on or not during our 4 days). Breakfast is basic and doesn't offer much in terms of daily options; the egg cooker was also unreliable. Despite the sign suggesting 3 minutes for a soft boiled egg, 15 minutes was needed and then only half the egg was done. Small niggles in the overall scheme of things

Good but could be betterI liked this hotel however whilst it was good but sadly it could be so much better. Firstly watch the address. Sat Nav will take you to the wrong place. Stay on the main road. It is in a good location being around 300m from the Aravet bubble. It is not ski in though as the hotel advertises. My biggest disappointment was the bad wifi. In todays world this is a must so why not get this sorted. Also the hallway to the room, where the cupboard, has a weird auto light so if you get up in the middle of the night the bright lights goes on even if you don't want it to. The room was well equipped and the bathroom was ok but no shower. Just a hand held shower attachment. The breakfast is good but continental. A wide selection of food. There is a small boot room but no seats. We used Jean Sport for ski hire and they were recommended by the hotel. 20% off which actually brought the price to pretty normal. One plus was the hotel allowed us to shower in the Spa on our last day which was ideal. If you do stay here ask for floor 1 as that is the easiest access to the piste level. Parking is in the free public carpark nearby. No hotel parking. So I am torn, I want to recommend this hotel but the wifi and slight lack of modern facilities just make me think twice.
