  Nos sentimos como en casa, el personal de recepción, del restaurante y del servicio de navette a las pistas han estado siempre atentos con nosotros (un grupo de 10), con cambios y anulaciones de habitaciones atendidos perfectamente, permitiéndonos salir un poco más tarde que la hora del check out. Una estancia muy agradable.

  hotel muy recomendable , centrico ,bien comunicado,cercano a la carretera ,parada de bus y taxi. personal muy servicial y colaborador , sobretodo el señor de recepcion. desayuno espectacular muy abundante y variado

  Buena ubicacion

  Estando en milano de trabajo aproveche para una escapada a esquiar. Bus directo hasta Courmayeur de Savda. El hotel esta en muy buen precio. La ubicacion es centrica. El desayuno es correcto (no mucha fruta ni verdura) los huevos se enfrian si no vas temprano a desayunar. el persona amable pero hasta ahi. Se los nota desanimados. Pocas sonrisas. Buena relacion precio-calidad-ubicacion. La habitacion muy buena calefaccion.

  Snow Fun

  Just returned from a 4 night stay here. Hotel is in a great position for the short walk into town. It's located on the main road which wasn't a problem for us.There is free parking outside or garage parking for a daily fee. The staff were all very friendly, especially the Barman. Breakfast was good and plentiful( but avoid the scrambled egg "cake). Our room and bathroom we're spacious and cleaned daily. It's true, it's rather old fashioned and there's no atmosphere in the very spacious bar/lounge area...massive old fireplace that has an electric substitute inside it...with a bit I thought, it could be a fabulous space to relax in. Hotel is in easy reach of both cable cars up to the slopes...and a very handy free mini bus to the Dolonne telecabine is provided.

  So Disappointing

  So disappointing doesn't actual begin to describe the experience. We went on the basis that one of the family members stayed there last year. It was cheaper than the hotel my wife and I usually use. The fact that the kids (grown-up) were coming and that it was cost effective for their first proper winter/ski holiday, we all decided to stay in the same place. For a 4Star hotel, it really is way overdue for a major refit and bringing up to date. I think that stars are awarded on the basis of facilities/services offered, but that doesn't matter if the general state of the place and service is appalling... * The state of disrepair extends to the staircase balustrade, which was just about hanging on to the wall. * The fixtures and fittings in our bathroom were cheap nasty wooden items that had been epoxied to the walls/tiles. * The shower, (over a bath with shower curtain yuk!) came up to below my shoulders - at 190cm this was not very practical or amusing. If I were under 150/155cm it may have been acceptable. * A water pipe burst in the wall of the bathroom and no one seemed bothered. We had to insist on a pile of towels to be delivered to the room to mop up... No immediate offer of assistance was forthcoming and we were told that a plumber would only come on Monday (3 days away)... No offer was made to move us, until we insisted... The options were certainly not acceptable... A day later, a more suitable room was suddenly available, which we moved into. * Two meals in the hotel restaurant were both worth forgetting and the attitude of the restaurant manager was quite arrogant and dismissive, to say the least. Sorry, should I have apologised to him?.. * A meat dish ordered to be cooked 'medium' turned up 90%+ raw. What was later returned as rectified was the same meat but now very well done. The second occasion was no better really. I ordered a meat pasta dish which arrived as a tomato pasta dish. When this was pointed out, the manager was quite insistent on arguing the point over what was ordered until the penny dropped, apologised and sent for the correct dish to be made. There are a number of large seating/lounge areas served by the bar downstairs and 9 out of 10 times, we were the only ones there. However, should you wish to order any food they will only serve you in the restaurant or deliver to your room. If you happen to be in the restaurant, you can only order a drink (other than wine or water) from the bar which is also where you'll have to consume it. The same goes for coffee - don't even think of trying to order a coffee after your meal... off to the bar with you, as that's the only place you'll get one! Quite bizarre. I could go on but am sure that you'll get the general idea. However, one last point must go to the restaurant, again. The scrambled eggs didn't look, taste or smell like scrambled eggs. To be frank, I'm not sure they actually were 'scrambled eggs'. Is there such a thing as powdered eggs? I love scrambled eggs, but theirs were disgusting. On a more positive note... The barman and a few other members of staff were great, friendly and helpful. The driver who fetched and carried us each day to and from the gondola lift in Dolonne was great and very efficient, even if he doesn't speak a word of anything other than Italian. So, would we go there again? No, Im afraid not. Can we honestly recommend the 4 Star Mont Blanc? No, cant do that either.
