Elegant hotelVery nice hotel near the main train station. beautiful lobby with a very nice onsen. Rooms were comfy and updated with all the necessary amenities. We had three people and they nicely gave us a double room and made up the pullout couch for us. Slippers and robes provided, as well as toiletries. Also close to a main street with restaurants. Staff was extremely friendly and spoke pretty good English. Breakfast served for a fee in the hotel's restaurant. A little pricey, but it is a nice hotel and the smaller city of Tottori doesn't have an abundance of options.

Seen worst placesThe rooms are a bit shabby, but all-in-all the bed was somehow confortable, enough place and equipment to host a reception party (all with local Tottori food). Most important part, breakfast, is actually edible, if you don't ask too much. Being the case that hotels in the countryside tend to mostly serve only Japanese food, this place made an effort to offer at least a sort of resemblance of a continental breakfast.

Comfortable stayMy stay here was very comfortable. The room was an interesting combination of Japanese and Western features--tatami area was almost like a platform bed. The independent climate controls took me a bit of time to figure out, during which I was a bit chilly, but I got that sorted out without too much difficulty. The in-room bath and the onsen bath downstairs were both very nice. Breakfast was also a combination of Japanese and Western, but it worked.

Nice Hotel in a hidden corner of the cityBooked this hotel via Yokoso Japan. It is like 500m away from Tottori station, when you come out from the main door (you may ask the tourist information counter for direction), and using google maps helps a lot. It is not far but when when weather is bad, it becomes a problem even if it is a short distance.I experience that one day when it was raining. Hotel is very nice, clean, comfortable, and they have a small onsen, where you have already been charged JY 300 in advance during hotel booking and you can enjoy the onsen if you like too. staffs are quite nice and helpful. Wifi is working well, but there is not that many restaurants nearby (anyway, in Tottori, there are not that many choices like in big cities). But along the way, there are a few convenience store, you may buy from this store. Tottori castle is like 1.4km walking distance from the hotel.

Older looking but quite comfortable hotelWe stayed here for two nights to enjoy Tottori. We immediately had the feeling that not many english speeking foreigner come here, but this could just be us. - location: the hotel is close to tottori station which is very good for travellers to take a bus or train to get around. - Room: the room was very spacious. Ours was a mix of old western hotels and with some Japanese elements. It looked a bit dated, but they normally do have more updated rooms if necessary. - Service: the staff was very friendly and they did their best to speak English. - Breakfast: breakfast was more basic then i expected, but still good. I actually want to recommend the vending machines at the entrance of the spa. They have a lot of options in the machines, which we didn't have in other hotels. TIP: try the ice cream and milk in their vending machines (milk from the area) if its still available. There is also a small shop with local products. Overall good hotel that offers comfortable spacious rooms for a good price.
