  Lovely Hawaiian atmosphere

  Most convenient place to stay on island since it is close to town and is the only place with a restaurant. Has a real Hawaiian vibe, great water views, and great live music at restaurant. The staff was really kind and helpful. Biggest downside was slow internet and weak cell service. Not cheap but had a wonderful stay!

  Staycation

  My husband & I planned to spend our 5 year wedding anniversary in Ireland, but because of Covid, we had to change our plans. We stayed in the deluxe suite, room 205 & we were very surprised to find such a beautiful room right on our home island! Kanani at the front desk was so friendly & helped my husband have roses already in the room when we checked in! The staff at at the restaurant (Hiros) directly under the suite, were also very friendly. The food was delicious & we got a complimentary dessert from the chef, when he found out we were celebrating our anniversary. Will definitely be staying here again, very soon!

  Loved the restaurant- but we had it almost to ourselves and worried for its future

  You are right on the water on an island that makes you see what Hawaii used to be like not so long ago. Its a funky hotel-we didn't stay there but could in the future- it has soul. The waitress at the restaurant was great- and she steered us well- the salad was huge and fresh, and the tempura fish was a big portion, nicely done. We like the Kalbi beef- and came a second time and had steaks and Calamari- all good. It felt homey- and it was a beautiful relationship to the water. Unfortunately, it only opens at six- we would have liked to come earlier for the sunset.

  Exceeded expectations!

  Hotel Molokai the only hotel on the remote island. Wasn't sure how off the grid everything would be but it was the perfect oasis in a sleepy town. Property is extremely well kept especially after rain/wind storms. Staff is super friendly and get to know you like family/friends. Rooms are in cute little tropical cabins with toiletries and other necessities. Bed was comfy, you can rent beach chairs/equipment at the front desk, vending machine selling burritos, candy, drinks, laundry detergent etc, very clean pool and common area with loungers overlooking the coast within just a few feet of the water. Hiro restaurant on site is very lovely and convenient for guests (outsiders even come just for the experience). Beautiful, quaint, charming accommodations - would recommend and return 100x again!!!

  A step in time back to Old Hawaii

  I just spent three wonderful nights here while visiting my daughter, it was quiet and very comfortable. As a single female traveler I felt very safe. I loved the 'Old Hawaii' feel this property has and am sorry that I didn't stay here on my previous visits. While the property is older, it is very clean and well maintained. The grounds are lovely and every staff member was kind and welcoming. You can tell all the staff take great pride in thier product, especially Michael Drew, the GM. He was professional and accommodating from my first phone call. The linens were plush and the room well appointed. I enjoyed the restaurant which was very good, with live dinner music, I enjoyed every meal there. I will be back!
