  Just for sleeping...

  We booked this hotel as a place to stay for a (business) trip to Italy. The hotel itself is very good, from garage to rooms but.... you are staying on a 'kind of' industrial area. If you take that into account do not hesitate to stay there as the staff is excellent, the rooms are clean, good showers and good breakfast.

  Great place to sleep, awful place to eat or drink.

  This is far more Motel than Hotel. The 'restaurant' is horrible, the evening menu VERY limited, the (bottled only) beer was warm both nights I stayed, and they had some godawful radio programme on all evening - like I needed to listen to more yabbering Italians! There are 60 rooms at the hotel and just 22 tables - you do the maths. Although I never saw more than about 10 people in the restaurant, actually, and the one waitress and the 'kitchen' were struggling to keep up. More microwaves required. The only good news was that the waitress was beautiful. The really bad news is that this place is in the middle of nowhere, so it's a taxi to a decent restaurant - if you know where to find one. Breakfast was just about OK. The 'bar' is 8 seats in the bright and sterile reception area. Having got all that off my chest, the rooms are reasonably well appointed and the beds comfortable. WiFi was fine. No tea and coffee making stuff though. And the electronic room door locks are very temperamental.

  SATISFIED!

  We arrived around 10 pm and a friendly, polite and professional staff welcomed us! A very practical advice was given to us by paying in advance so as to avoid the chaos of the check-out routine since we were quite a number in our group lodging for the 3-day Convention. What I love the most was the calm during breakfast time where there's no jostling around or even waiting much to have your own table and food was good. Nice, quiet rooms and characterized by different lighted framed poster of some famous people or event in each room. We had Ferrari racing with Schumacher and Todt grinning at us! For me, a nice hotel couldn't be nice without a nice and good management and of course, behind such management is a good and nice manager. A really "Job well done!" to Ilaria. Keep up the good work!   Solid and reliable, but I saw a bug in the bathroom

  Overall the hotel was fine. It was suitable for a business trip. Rooms are not big, but fine for a night or two when on business. Internet was ok, not great. Decor was contemporary and nice. No complaints with anything really except that when I woke up in the morning and was "using the facilities" I was surprised to see a roach come out of the drain from the shower. Considering how clean the place was otherwise, it was very surprising. While I'm on the subject, the bathroom is like the hotel overall, falling in the minimalist class. The bathroom had a shower in the corner, and the floor kind of slopes down towards the drain. And a shower curtain curls around at 90 degrees to enclose you. I am not an all out germaphobe, but I'm not a fan of having a shower curtain touching me all over. Just kinda gross to me. If you are a pretty skinny person and don't mind rubbing up against a shower curtain that has rubbed against others, than no problem. I'm a bigger guy, so this was not comfortable for me. I hate to nit pick because overall it was a solid place to stop over. The Excelsior in Magenta by the way is much nicer.

  Best for Business Trips

  We stayed here a night for business. Room was spacious for Europe standard, clean & well organized. Bathroom was good size. The breakfast was minimal but that seems to be the "standard" in Italy whenever we are travelling for work. The service staffs was helpful. Overall it was a good business stay.
