  The staff at the Hotel Miramonti like to say "Yes"

  Stayed here on a pre-arranged packaged tour so I am unable to comment on the cost verses value of our stay. I am of the opinion that this is both a family owned and run hotel. Both the family members and staff are very friendly and helpful at all times. Our room was found to be in need of both modernisation and repair. For example the shower head despite working was broken and I actually cut my hand showering, bathroom mirror light in need of repair, one of the single bedside light switches was broken, bedroom furniture requires replacing and the wooden facia around the bed soon fell away and became a trip hazard. The room was generally clean however for example both the bedroom curtains and bathroom window frame was in need of cleaning. The lift was both in need of servicing and the years of accumulative dirt removing from the outer edges of the lift doors and I do emphasise years of accumulative dirt removing. Repairs and attention to detail are required if this hotel is to continue to succeed.

  Clean and nice

  Really nice hotel. Its not luxurious but its hotel with 3 stars and everything is by the book. The room was clean, air conditioned and nothing was broken. The sound insulation is a bit weak but it was ok. Wifi was excellent. The staff is professional and friendly. Food is ok, its not excellent but its ok.

  Bed, bath but no beyond

  This hotel was a part of my/ our tourist package (visiting Tuscany) so I am not commenting "value for money". This hotel is perfectly located if you want to, as we did, visit 6 cities/ towns nearby and then come back each night to the same place. Bathroom looked new, extremly clean, equiped with all toileteeries (something you don't expect at a 3* hotel). I was pleasantly surprised with numbers of towels (not soft) , you get more than at some 4/5* hotels. Bed was comfy (if you like harder matress), room was clean, had a great A/C, a balcony & enough hangers. Sound isolation is poor (no carpets on the floors & thin walls) so you hear everything. For breakfast (buffet) you get old buns & toast bread, ham, cheese, hard boiled eggs, butter, 2 types of jam, sweet croissants, 3 types of cereals, cold milk, multivitamine juice & hot beverage machine (coffee was good). Dinner is - better skip it! At last, but not the least, the staff/ service: the worst ever, even for a 3* small hotel. In 4 nights we didn't get a single smile from anyone, they were "serving" us as they want to get rid of us ASAP, cleaning the tables while we were still eating, being rude when asked something ... I was told that they accept cards (they have a sign on the door!) but when I wanted to pay for the tourist fee/ city tax - "no card, cash". I didn't get the receipt ...

  Italian Dream

  This hotel is a wonderful family run Italian hotel. The marble floors sparkled. The curtains that hung in the lobby and dining room - floor to ceiling- were spotless. Even the chandeliers sparkled. Yet the Italian charm we were looking for was everywhere. Marko, his wife and sister were perfect hosts. Our room was spotless- marble floors sparkled, bathroom was spotless. The room was moderate in size - perfect for 2 people. Our room had a balcony facing west allowing us perfect views of Italian sunsets. Housekeeping provided fast service with a cheerful Buongiorno!. The only meals we enjoyed were breakfast and these were amazing! Fresh hot crescents, cheese and assorted Italian hams. Our experience was over the top!
