  Beautiful, special town; Simple room.

  This mountain town (Tremosine) is hard to get to, but well worth the drive (a long James Bond movie chase scene was filmed on the road up from Lake Garda!). The food was delicious - we had dinner and breakfast - and the view from the dining room, stunning. It literally hangs high above the lake. Our room was simple (a triple) but good enough. Unfortunately we had a grumpy waiter at dinner, but it didn't affect our spirits. House wine was local, excellent, and inexpensive - a delightful bargain. We walked around the most picturesque, untouristy town at sunset, and it's truly charming - great photos at every turn.

  Shabby not chic!

  A very tired looking establishment. The rooms in the annex where we stayed appear to have been updated but still lack the quality and finnesse one would expect from a hotel boasting beautiful views. That's about all I can say is nice about this hotel, the view. The staff were surly ( except one female receptionist). The sheets on the bed were torn and appeared dirty. The breakfast was was lacking variety and was uninspiring.

  Nice view, nice place but average hotel

  Hotel is very nice placed with breath-taking view on the lake. Rooms DeLux and Superior are newly furnished, clean and nice. Only rooms DeLux have a small balcony. Staff is pleasant and willing. However, the meals were mostly not so much than average, very bad breakfasts :((( Guests having half board cannot sit during dinner at windows with view on the lake. Why ???!! It seems that hotel prefers "paying" boarder.....

  the good the bad and the ugly!

  We stayed here in June for a week. The hotel is high above Lake Garda with great views of the area. Beware, there are four hotels of this name around the lake and we thought we were booked into the one with excellent ratings all round! To get to the hotel you have a long hairpin drive which on a dark stormy night was quite disturbing. The hotel is a bit tired as are the rooms. We stayed on a half-board basis - breakfast was fine but the evening meals varied tremendously, There were some strange medleys of food on one plate sometimes. My partner is still shuddering from the plate of polenta and dried fish he was served on the first night! The staff were pleasant and helpful. The room was basic but clean and pleasant. There is no lounge only an outdoor area to sit with a television provided. Drinks were expensive. The hotel is in a small village with some shops and eating places. There is an interesting church near the hotel. We sometimes used the bus to get down to the lake. A positive for us was that we drove around the villages and surrounding area which we probably wouldn't have done if we'd been based on the lake itself. I would not stay here again because of the drive up to the hotel.

  very very nice

  here you'll be hosted in an elegant hotel with a magic view on the great landscape of Garda's lake. Hotel Miralago is located right in the center of the lovely city of Tremosine, out form the main stream. You can use gratis the open air swimming pool (250 far from the hotel) and use a private parking car.
