  I had a booking for 10 and said I would reconfirm the day before. I had 8 and said can I keep it as a 10 as I may have latecomers and that was no problem. Then disaster struck when 2 confirmed did not show and I ended up with 6. The management were fine with me while I was highly embarrassed. Now on to the meal. They have daily specials and an extensive menu from the pub classics of burgers and schnitzels, to the steaks and seafood. The wines are very affordable and again a huge range. One of the girls took photos for us on multiple cameras, and always had a smile. They are also open on a Sunday

  Great location. Never ever again

  Unbearable, 40° heat, 2 nights, no aircon. No kettle, no tea, no coffee. Fans provided. Had to shut window/doors as open to allcomers on to balcony. Almost expired. Dreadful stay, unavoidable. Only Ambassadors is worse, or on par.

  Central location.

  We met here as a group of old friends as it was a central location. As people arrived and our group swelled in size, to about 12, we moved some tables in the outdoor courtyard, to join them together. The staff weren't happy that we had done so, saying that they were the ones to relocate tables and chairs and we only had to ask, but not to do it ourselves. Also to ask, when we wanted the Umbrellas put up in the courtyard, which we did and to which they responded promptly. The group intended to meet for lunch, perhaps at the Metropolitan, but as one person had eaten there previously and described it as 'pretty ordinary' we moved on to an ethnic restaurant a few minutes walk away. Very friendly staff, but dont fiddle with their outdoor furniture! Pretty ordinary. Nothing special.

  38c & just a fan in the corner !! The beds & dresser looked liked they had been sourced from a car boot sale !! A tent would have been nicer !! Was offered a refund but 3 months later still nothing !! Hence the reed back !!

  If it was just about hospitality Id give a 5 but I cant because although of a good quality the food was pretty basic. The choices are limited and ordinary. So feeling somewhat disappointed especially as the lunch was supposed to be a treat. The drinks however were good well presented cold and served with a smile. The pub is clean but austere and noisy due to wooden furnishings not exactly a buzzy atmosphere; probably due to Corona. Prices are typical for pub grub. Service excellent.
