  Tiene buena ubicación una hermosa vista excelente servicio las habitaciones muy acojedoras super limpio su personal muy atento tienen un patio hermoso donde puedes tomar tu desayuno el precio razonable

  5 Star View, 2 Star Accommodations

  Hotel Metropole is situated right across the beach offering an unobstructed views of the Avalon harbor, but the experience beyond the view falls short given what one pays for such a view - $500 plus a night. The positive: 1. the View - we paid up for the full ocean view and enjoyed mornings and evenings looking out at the beautiful bay The not-so-positive: 1. Room Cleanliness - we found a pair of dirty socks rolled up under one of the chairs; tub was dirty 2. Room Accommodations - the bedding was mediocre, not what you'd expect for a really nice hotel room; plastic cups only, but no wine opener or other glasses; satellite tv did not work well with half the channels out 3. Poor Service - we called for a spare razor and were simply told they didn't have one - if this were truly a 4-5 star hotel, the staff would put in the extra effort to take care of a small request. Both nights the guests above had young children running laps around their room after midnight - called the second night and no stafff on site that could go and personally address the matter...so we slept poorly both nights. I do wish we had a different experience and I could write a glowing review. Our expectations for a $500 a night room were not unreasonable and Metropole under-delivered and wholly underwhelmed.

  Catalina Birthday Stay

  Surprised my boyfriend for his birthday stayed at the Metropole had a Vip Suite which was Absolutely Wonderful the room was Gorgeous the Full Ocean view fireplace & Omg the jet spa tub was to die for would Definitely go again. 5 Stars hands dwn Thanks The Metropole c Uguys soon..

  Beautiful Hotel.

  We stayed here based on the reviews. And we were so happy to see our beautiful suite. It had a balcony with the full view of the bay. We had a hot tub and fireplace also. It was wonderful! Our room nbr was 316 I believe. We had our own entryway from the street. You can walk to the hotel from the ferry. Save yourself $20. Unfortunately, we got stuck an extra night on the island due to the weather in the channel. The golf cart businesses were not open. I don't know why. There were about 12 people that wanted to rent a cart. I guess they make all their money in the summer. Our last day there, the weather was sunny and 65 degrees. Not much to do there in the winter. Only one restaurant open for breakfast. Museums closed and few restaurants. Had to wear masks all the time.

  Average hotel AT BEST

  This hotel is way over priced. Especially with the jacuzzi being closed, no breakfast, and basically everything closed on the island. The hotel staff is very uninformed. Twice they gave us wrong information on questions we asked. It seemed like their were some great rooms with views, but we got a room that looked at the building. With an empty hotel you would think they would have upgraded us.
