  Clean Hotel For Overnight Stay But Disappointing Breakfast

  We stayed here overnight to visit the very pretty town of Rothenburg. The room was very dated but comfortable and had everything you could need, there was a fridge/mini bar, tea & coffee making facilities and a free bottle of water, beds were very comfortable and bedding was spotless. The bathroom with shower was adequate with fresh towels and fixed liquid soaps. However, sound transmission between the rooms was very poor and you could hear everything. Reception is only staffed until 10pm but you are given a key to open the outside door. Breakfast was included but was very disappointing. Breakfast is served until 10am, even though we arrived before 9am all the items were largely depleted, cold meats, tomatoes etc. Regarding the cooked items there was only lukewarm scrambled egg and hardboiled eggs, there was no sausages in the warming tray so I asked for some but only 3 were provided, as there were two of us having breakfast we needed to ask for more which took a further 10 minutes. There is a small free car park to the side of the hotel.

  Nice hotel for budget traveller

  The hotel is rather nice with very good breakfast. The rooms are clean but the bathroom has a very old style and does not make you fell comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helps you find your destination around the town.

  Get the package w/the Night Watchman Tour!

  This property is within walking distance of the Rothenburg train station. My mother and I were able to walk to the hotel with our luggage. The elevator is small, but it works. The reception is friendly, and the breakfast (included in the room rate, at least for us) is absolutely fantastic! This property is outside of the "gated" area of the city, but we easily walked to the inner city without any problems. If you stay here, I recommend getting the package that includes the tour with the Night Watchman. It's informative and hilarious. our hotel room was small, there were two reasonably comfortable beds, and we had our own bathroom including shower. Our room door/window opened up onto the shared terrace, which got a bit loud one night because some people were drinking and talking out there while we were trying to sleep. But it was otherwise an excellent stay.

  Old charm world hotel

  This hotel sits on a corner in town not far from the fort. It has parking on the side, elevator, quaint rooms, quiet at nite,front desk that can even get you international stamp and mail your postcard. Cutest little breakfast room you ever saw with lots of Windows. Charming! Food , service and comfort is 100 %. Would go again in a heartbeat.

  The hotel is generally quite okay

  The hotel building itself is a bit old fashioned and shows its age, but the service is generally quite okay and the staff are friendly. The room is reasonably spacious; the beds are comfortable. Breakfast is good with adequate seating. The hotel location is good, just 5 minutes from the walled city, UNESCO designated old town centre. However, the hotel has less than parking spots, it could be quite confusing where it may be safe to park overnight.
