March ski weekHotel was good with very nice, friendly staff. Facilities were good and we took advantage of the pool etc which was very welcome after a full days skiing. Good location with a short walk to the cable car. What really made the holiday was Daniele, the hotel ski guide. We skied for 5 of our 6 days with him, being taken to areas we probably would not have discovered ourselves. It's a big ski area and if you are of a good intermediate standard and want to get the best out of this area having a ski guide to show you around is a real advantage and great fun. Full marks to the hotel for providing this complimentary service! I hope to be back next time with my family.

excellent value for moneyWe stayed 8 nights at this hotel in two interconnected rooms (2 adults, 2 kids). The rooms were just refurbished, i guess, everything was brand new, the bathrooms had been re-painted but not refurbished, but were more than ok. Lovely balcony in both rooms on the 3rd floor. I liked the position of the hotel just near the col rodella cable car, the big garden hosting a small playground, the pool and the spa center, the ample parking possibility. A real plus was the dinner, really excellent food, and the amazing staff, an incredible set of young people always ready to please you, we were all amazed. They also organise daily excursions and activities for kids. There is a quite large common area on the ground floor which is good for a drink before dinner or to relax playing cards in a rainy day. On the negative side not much, perhaps a sofa in the room would have been useful, also as there was space enough and some more local cheese at breakfast would have been nice, to go along with the very nice speck and the reach variety of cakes.

This is a 3 star hotel with 5 star restaurant staff and ski guideThis is not a family run hotel. It is a business with management nowhere near Campitello and it shows. By far the best part of this hotel is Daniele, the in house ski guide and all around wonderful guy. The restaurant staff were amazing (Oana and Gianni) patient, polite, intuitive and generally worth way more than what they probably get paid. The food is average at best. At dinner, there is a good salad bar but given this is Italy, why are they using dried pasta and over saucing and salting everything. Main courses were also average. Soups are made with salty flavouring cubes. Other than the delicious ice cream, the desserts were not good, and often garnished with artificial whipping cream. Breakfast was average at best. The buffet was overloaded with sweet cakes and the fruit salad was a cheap mix of fruits. The juices all tasted like juice drinks and were not pure. We stayed in a suite but the room was under a roof so the usable space in the bedroom part was cut in half by the sloping roof. No-one obviously told us we would be hitting our heads regularly when forgetting to duck after using the drawers. The bathroom was spacious with a good shower but everything felt very cheap and the towels were very rough. The front desk staff women on average, spoke little or no English and were often not very polite. We asked for the bill to be brought up to our room on check out, they said 'you can come down and get it'. Overall, the hotel was ok but Daniele was the star of the show (and the restaurant staff too). Without them, this hotel would be a 3 star place at best.

A great ski holidays!!This was my first time in the hotel and I was positively surprised. The location is great, perfect for an alpine holiday in general. Its central and close to the cableway, only 150 m of distance. The Spa is extraordinary and the restaurant is excellent..breakfast and dinner have a good variety and good quality of ingredients. The rooms are very nice and clean, most have a beautiful view, and each of them has a small balcony that would be nice to use during warm seasons. The Staff is professional, kind and friendly!! We will return with pleasure!!
